I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I experienced PoE first, hoping that it would just be another good game to play in conjunction with Diablo 3.

I can't write in detail about the D2 experience, but I can compare my disappointment to what most of us came to expect from a 'Blizzard' title.

During some period inside the latter half of The Burning Crusade, something changed at Blizzard. It was obvious they were pushing to garner as much money from their customers as possible, oftentimes by relegating internal issues to the customer.

Unfortunately, that ideology crept into their future titles and inspired the 'pay to win' RMAH model. While this was only a part of the problem, it destroyed itemization and punished player experience.

However, the nail in the coffin, for me, was their communication. They berated and patronized us daily, by rubbing game issues in our 'thankful' faces.

I knew when one CM made that remark, that Blizzard was dead and I'll never support Blizzavision again.

My hopes for gaming's future are in people, like GGG.

Checking in from D3, it was a terrible letdown to this point, love the skill forest offered here!

Won't go back to D3, this game made more improvements in their Beta over the past month than D3 has since launch

One more D3 player here.

I plan to go back to D3 after a few patches and/or an expansion. However, my time with POE is very well spent so far!

Just wanted to chime in and say I came from Diablo 3 as well, which did not satisfy my arpg needs whatsoever! Hopefully I'll be trying this soon, as i just missed the stress test weekend.

Same for me Diablo 3 was not all it was made out to be.

I knew relatively little about POE but i a happy with the majority of things in game so far.

So a big Thumbs up to POE and the DEV crew and a Big Sucky thumbs down to Blizzard and Activision.

d1 = sandbox game
d2 = sandbox game
PoE = Sandbox game

Question: What do you get in a sandbox game if the sand is removed?

Box? lol. It's been weeks since i even logged into D3 let alone play. It was fun but "World of Auctionhouse 3" gets boring after a while.
