I came here from Diablo 3!!! [Please post here if you did as well!]

I came here to see how PoE compare with Diablo 3 but now i can`t compare them because I didn`t finish the install.

i remember how all the fan boys were before D3 came out...... how did that 60 bucks work out for ya?

Well my story is like many on this thread.
I came from Diablo 3 and was extremely disappointed by this game that has very little to do with Diablo 2 and a lot more with WOW. The fact the person who was in charge despised Diablo 2 to start with is pretty telling.

Anyway I tried POE without really expecting a lot from it and wow, I was wrong !

This game has definitely something.
I started to play and after 30 min I got a shiver through my spine, feeling something very very familiar that I didn't felt at all in Diablo 3. yes the diablo 2 magic was here ^^

it could be felt in the items or in the way you build your character, progressively and patiently.

Now let's be clear, the game has still quite a long way to go in my opinion, especially on the gameplay front but it's very promising.

A big kudos to you guys, you made a fantastic job ! :)

haven't played d2 but even i realized that at the moment d3 is crap, so i decided to come here. atleast the environment graphics and complexity of skills and itemization is very appealing to me.

Same here... D3 is so broke. Worst of all it is not fun!!!

Welcome to all the new Exiles.

I quit D3 during its beta, and consider myself incredibly lucky for doing so.

I hope that Path of Exile provides you with that gritty, intense ARPG experience that other titles might fail to produce.
