Printing of divination cards

OP probably saw someone on Youtube or Twitch getting lucky and now believes the craft actually prints divination cards. That's kinda cute not gonna lie. There is nothing wrong with card gambling in my opinion. One of the few fun Harvest crafts left and people want it nerfed or outright removed. Baffling.

Ok, so the lucky drop of the item is not a 50/50 outcome, which the multiplication of 1 into 2 cards supposedly is (if we ignore the option where it stays the same). You can argue that the drop of the 1st card is the lucky find, but that again is way more common than the whole item drop, and very much achievable. You don't see people farming a mageblood 'spot', because there isn't such, but you do see people farming apothecary 'spots'.

The increase of price of the mageblood for instance is a fact, cards started at 20-ish divines then were 50-ish and before i quit the league were 60-something.
This, at least in my opinion, is due to the fact that more and more currency is printed.
And bottom line is - printing cards is not only an additional way of creating mageblood but even more so an additional way of printing divines. Raw divines will always be available in any quantity you want, due to bots. So getting an additional card and selling it is essencially inflating the economy with 60 more divines which you will use to purchase other stuff and make those items in their turn even more expensive, creating a snowball effect.

To sum it up, I don't see printing cards as an incredible increase in the item supply but more as a way of priting currency when people sell those cards.

The reason why the card gets more expensive as the league goes is that players have more currency to spend it on. Thats basic economy 101.

Just like mirrors gets more expensive as any league progress.

The div card gambling has nothing to do with it. The odds of losing cards are the same as creating cards.

As other peoples pointed out, youtube videos generally shows success stories rather than failures. Do you watch a video of a mirror dropping in a map and end up thinking that they must drop in every maps? No.

My friend was under influence of such 'luckers' from twitch and just poofed his apothecary cards.

The statistic is the thing where you need to compare bad and good outcome ratios.
However you don'y know what it is.
PoE nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players.
Gambling is not printing, you can get lucky, you can burn stuff, some you win, some you lose. People on Youtube edit stuff to make it look like they always win because it makes good content.
Wow, I think I never read a post that is that... Special?

Where is my headhunter? Why it doesnt shot when I sear <1div?
huh?

This league gets more expensive because more currency is in the game, people got more powerfull and can farm faster. But it also got more expensive because there are less players and more people quit who cant generate currency.
