Feedback and Suggestions (Path of Exile 1) - anyone else think they wasted lore with lake of kalandra? - Forum

From what I experienced myself in the first couple of days of the league it feels like the average "I'm hurting so everyone shall suffer for it.." perhaps I needed to explore it more.. but after this league totally seems like an overrated character and yes, it's wasted.. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure." Once you break the cycle of fear no angels or demons can whisper you their sweet nothing words. poe0.2/10. Nuff said. I think Kalandra is a kinda wasted opportunity. The lore in this game is weird and rich and really deep even if it is more in the background. I haven't explored the lake enough yet to properly judge it. However, bad kalandra lore was/is one of my greatest fears towards this league. For me, Kalandra is/was so iconic, I thought it could be the thing that would lead to PoE 2 or the ultimate goal of Atlas or something. Well, I will have a better idea after going deeper in the lake. Speaking of missed opportunity, for me the bigest lore fuck up was the scourge league. I mean who in their right mind wouldn't want to know more about otherworthly demons? Ever since the original beyond, I wanted to know more.....but instead we git: creepy bugger shows up, asks you to mutilate yourself with sketchy device, does not elaborate further, and leaves. I wish they do more things like Heist. I know people shit on Heist dor a lot of reasons but the charcters and dialogue are top quality. The banter when you're setting up the blueprints is always improving my mood.
