is it just me or are the forums very quiet lately? usually there is a lot more new threads and discussions...are people enjoying the league too much and forgot about the forums?

" trade has been far more lively at this point in the league than previous. league mechanic is bad, atlas rework is supporting this league(I get the feeling all big atlas updates are going to have bad league mechanics, since the new atlas stuff will keep us occupied they can put less effort into a new mechanic) |

probably has something to do with only 23,055 players concurrent for the past day
this league flatlined fast. bad league + giga hyped games released at the same time = dead game |

I think the forums reflect the state of the league.
I mean, I'm here partly waiting for 3.18 info and mostly out of the habit. Going to be a long wait -.- | |

23k (daily max) on steam charts while league still lasts more than a month.
People moved on and play other games till 3.18. This time around there are more alternatives and people will play them longer and likely ignore the upcoming mini events in the next week(s) and forums will stay dead till about 2 weeks prior 3.18. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. I’m going to be blunt: Specifically Elden Ring has absorbed a lot of common forum mainstays including me, because without a wiki, the game takes dedication and is a far more modern and far more adaptive and more realistic game.
It’s also one of the first games I’ve seen since about 2006 that can be played offline. (I explicitly play it offline because for some reason Steam deployed Easy Anti-cheat which drastically overworks your GPU) Once people have their play throughs and game pluses, some will come back here. The other games have already lost their poe base, more or less, but Elden Ring is a masterpiece. |
