Lost Ark is POE Killer
" ALL HAIL CANDY CRUSH! OUR GLORIOUS CHAMPION! Oh wait. I don't play that game. *sadface* |

" Just wait until you realize Lost Ark is P2W in every way, guild only end game, monthly taxes for all content, enchantment on weapons break so often each wep needs $700. Oh and don’t get me started on Steam’s ISP throttling, Lost ark’s poor mob Ai, boss stun locks, etc. You will die and lose xp more, not less, and lag/frame rate while doing it. Lost Ark is going to require you to dedicate your life to it. It’s designed to require you to play all day every day at endgame |

" And this is how Lost Ark competes with POE. Both games greatly rewards no lifing. Gutting Gameplay Gradually

" Sound like POE. Games designed to play forever. The Endless Erection of Carrot on a Stick. NOW it is a problem? It is totally fine. |

PoE wasnt Lost til its Arc flew below the whorizon. I say this as if TOUCAN said it. I swear it even if I must play WoW classic again!

" It’s not fair to try to equate farming endlessly because you choose to with pvping/bossing/crafting with a guild endlessly because you HAVE to. In Poe, you can leave the game to go to work, spend time with family, etc. You can leave the game for a week, and none of your possessions cost real money. In Lost Ark if you do that, you will lose you strongholds, bosses, item advantage, and you MUST do it with a guild. The bosses are on cooldown timers and will be stalked across channels. You will also be running items with timers, that run while you are logged off. You will reasonably be forced to play about 96hours a week just to maintain yourself. I did this for over 11 years of my life. My dreams never happened because I did. But, I’m sure you don’t care to listen to someone who was the Guild leader of 750+ players, camped every boss, paid $ 8000+ on every MMO he’s played, multiboxed my own support/tanks/damage on every game I’ve played. Poe is casual. It resets, so no one has long term expectations. Lost Ark expects everything of you, and for you to die there. |

PEO is POE killer :/
- lost ark is a completely different game and honestly it's a pretty bad game and totally pay to wim. - what's really killing POE is the idea that the game can't be fun, every 4-fun build is removed from the game, if something new comes along it gets nerfed many times with the league still going on like it did in WoW , LoL etc.. POE got lost in its many changes imposed by tencent and the truth is that I no longer feel like I'm playing POE, there are no more fights, builds or paths, the game has become unidimensional or you kill everything with one hit or die, the drop doesn't exist and as much as I understand that the game is a grinde game, something must motivate this grinde, there's no logic in grinding a game for nothing, and the feeling I have playing POE is that I'm wasting my day and not having fun with a game |

" I do play Korean MMO. The Guild leader usually just hand the guild leadership to someone else and the guild would be fine. Sometime the Guild leadership could change several times. If you are obsess with the ownership of the guild, you couldn't leave. |

" 1. I’ve never ever witnessed a top guild transfer power, unless their gear, numbers, and strategy were at least twice the power of the next runner up. Usually, what happens when a guild leader is gone is that ok and boss resetting and boss Aggro are what a guild does when a game is competitive but the leader isn’t there. I’ve ceded power 4 times in three games to either merge, step down, reduce my obligation. Do you actually know what happens when you do that? A)New leadership actively looks for ways to destroy guild loyalty to you in efforts to raise their own. This often makes all you friends choose you or them, and it never ends clean. In Shaiya, I promoted an outside player to my guildies as a co-leader to leverage players from guild 1to my guild to try to beat #1 more than 70% of the time. Long story short: We reached our goal in two months, she accused me of stealing a common guild drop from my class, kicked me from my own guild, at which point I remade my original guild. About half of my players quit the game because of it. 1/4 came with me. 1/4 stayed with her because they liked power, and because she later got engaged to and married one of my long term officers. Her guild fell apart over time, and mine considerably shrunk for the rest of my mmo life. In Archeage I actually eventually joined someone else’s guild to boss/pvp. I owned the most lucrative trade territories on two servers and my gear was mythic. Unfortunately, the guild had two rounds of guild leaders finding “real life” and the guild collapsed around them. Very Very few guilds have good structured to replace good workers. PS: this was about needing to be part of a guild and what that entails. Good luck being online in any guild and getting away with not going to every boss because you want to farm or craft. It’s also about the expense. |

" Just because you personally dont like LA, doesnt meant you should outright lie about it. You dont lose strongholds, gear doesnt break, you dont need money to reach endgame gear in reasonable time, you dont need to be with a guild, nobody taxes you. The game has a ton of catch up mechanics as well as mechanics for people who cant play regularly. It's probably the most casual friendly Korean MMO there is, specifically designed so that you don't sit there and farm sh1t 24/7 (unless you want to) like you do in PoE early league if you want to take advantage of the non-inflated market. You have no idea what are you talking about and I don't know what are your sources (if there are any), but they are full of it. Games has problems, but these ramblings of a madman that you mentioned in your last posts are not one of them. Last edited by MECHanokl#1095 on Feb 18, 2022, 3:01:15 AM
