Post aura rage here. I will lock any other aura thread I see.

the new auras look so bad , in the heat of battle you can't till what auras are in affect from other party members . and if your computer can't handle this game , you shouldn't be player PC games at all ... go back to your game consoles .

Not a fan of the new auras, only been playing a few weeks but i was loving the old ones when i saw them. Sure they were a little graphics heavy but i think the lag was a minority of players and not the majority.

Im not angry about the change, just really disappointed. Hope a graphic option comes into play and they get reverted back. I speak as a Summoner-Witch using my mediocre laptop to play half the time.

I also wish there was an option to keep aura's as they where. I keep my computer up to date and dislike losing features or graphics that I enjoyed as part of the game, because some people freak out that their computer which was midteir at best 4 years ago, can no longer play current games..

I'd simply say, i'd rather have the old auras and bad performance, rather than the new auras.

Bad performance can lead to death pretty quickly in PoE, I guess this is one big argument for avoiding bad performance over everything else ;) And again, play a summoner and you will HATE the old auras because every Minion will have them which leads just to a big mess on screen.
However, OPTIONAL Aura graphic settings (similar to shadows) shouldn't hurt so everyone can set whatever he finds best.

Russel I hope you saw my post about auras with example pictures, what did you think about that one?

I think the new auras look poor. Cheap and minimal and... well, boring. I think adding a 'simple auras' option checkbox under the graphics UI would be very welcome and the best solution to this issue, assuming it is one.

Which should tell you how much he hates the new auras.

new auras are great

Just based off some screen shots, it doesn't look that bad.

But I would suggest keeping the old auras on monsters, as you need to see them properly in combat.
