I am heading off to work. If you get the chance, run a WinMTR while playing and post up a trace of at least 300-500 seconds, the longer the better as it gives a better data set. Everything you need to know about it and what IP address to run it to is in the MTR connectivity link in the sticky I linked. I'll be back in a few hours and will take a look see then. :)

So i tried to do what you said, i downlaod WinMTR. i run it. i put in my ip adress and pressed start. i ran it for 5 minutes like you said. and saved the text. " Are you sure you got the correct instance IP from the client.txt file ?? Also it looks like you have a firewall active either in your windows system or in the ISP router/modem that is blocking the ICMP packets. This is why WinNTR doesn't work. Can you get anyone to help you with this ?? |
