No log book drops/ No expedition encampment

I've been playing through the game running almost all the expeditions I come across. I'm level 82 now, but 0 log books have dropped.

I do have "the lost expedition" quest in act 3. But when I go to act 3 no maps have an expedition. I think I seen there is a dedicated expedition area as well? I do not have that unlocked either.

my quest from Act 3 is still lingering too. I wonder how common these Log Book drops are: during campaign, during maps?

I'm not sure about how common. I had a post on reddit too where only 1 person commented. So it seems to be a fraction of players.

People who are getting logbooks seem to get them a bit less than regular map drops. But still getting them in act 10 and then low maps etc.

I've gotten 0 from act 10 farming, and none from the god knows how many maps i've run. Tier 1-5.

I also have not seen a single logbook, leveling a second character now after being in t5/6 maps with the other.

I'm level 84, up to t10 maps, and I haven't seen a single logbook. No drop. I also did all the expedition and all the %logbooks chests that I find plus all the big/small skulls. Nothing.

I would love to try the league mechanic, but I don't want to resort to buy 1. It should drop at least some.

Same. Level 84 and no logbooks have dropped. Seems like a taunt to offer the quest in Act 3 only to go the entire campaign without one dropping. You'd think they'd force the drop as a means to include it as part of the tutorial experience. =shrug=

It does seem a little ridiculous. I've had 50% logbook mods applied to at least 7 Runic monster totems now between act 3 and 4, and zero drops. The one I just completed here, had three runic monsters in the encounter with the mod - no drops.

It feels buggy. I've had every other 50% and 35% chance mod proc so far more than once.

PSA its 50% increased chance not 50% chance

also GGG buffed logbook drop rates as of tonight.

also bad RNG isn't a bug.

Ah ok, if it infact says 50% increased, then I simply read it wrong about 7 times. Honestly it seemed odd to list such a high chance, but all the other less than 100% ones are chance to drop, rather than increased chance to drop.

Guess I'll get one eventually.
