In reality its not a big point investment. Your going to get inner force and it takes 11 points to get there from the left start point on the witch tree. 6 of those points are purely stats, 2 are 15% crit, 1 is 25% crit, 2 are spellpower nodes. I take 8 of those points out, leaving in the spellpower nodes and instead, go across the top of the tree starting from just below EB, guess what, those 8 points, take me to inner force too! The only "additional" investment is the actual double curse nodes.

For my spork build i have to pick up static blows anyway, so its a no-brainer to get double curses. But even for a cold witch, there arent 5 points on the entire tree that will increase your dps more.
