made another lowlife RF witch....this time....EK....i got 15k armor without molten shell currently. 20k with. 50k w/ granite, so no, i dont 1shot myself on reflect. Here's the build. Best one yet imo. using eva/es helm gloves. no armor on belt yet. Use wondertrap for IIR.

Stayed away from marauders troll blood because it forces you to get heart of gladiator. Instead got duelist life regen. More regen too! Decided to get unwavering to free up an ammy slot, and i needed some more strength anyway. I got the mana reservation nodes so i can blood magic (the covenant) 4 auras. I use Vitality, Purity, Hatred, Determination via the covenant. Mana pool auras are Grace, Discipline, Haste. still trying to get 4 off colors on my shavronnes. Currently, its EK-Mana leech-life leech-Faster casting- Item rarity (ugh). 11.k dps with blood rage and im using a crappy wand (for projectile speed) and lvl 18 EK.....and my shield is ES/EVA. (just got lvl 20 ek. dps 13k now. still have shitty wand) since this build ends up with lower life, and much more ES regen from the tree (3.4% versus 1.5%) I have done map mods consisting of Vulnerability AND -max resists without having my ES drop from RF. Hi guys,
I'm trying to follow this build and I'm just falling very short. I'm a level 71 witch just switching over from dual lightning totems to try this out. Any help is very much appreciated. I have the following build so far... My (tooltip) dmg is 509 with FP. (In Town w/Aura's activated - No Blood Rage & RF) ES is 4777 (Aura's included) My equipment is:

Confused...
Why do people post in this thread about getting enough life regen to cancel out RF, but then they take the node that makes your regen apply to ES instead? My Standard shop: http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/109915/page/1

" I don't think RF damage bypasses energy shield - it isn't chaos damage. The damage dealt is based on your health though, hence you want little max health so you can cover the regen easily so RF doesn't negate all your ES. At least that's my understanding of it, I may well be wrong ! |
