What is POE to you

It's a video game. Currently the best arpg in the market but only a video game nonetheless. As soon as something better comes along, I'll just switch to that but for now I'll play this game.

Good fun cheap time waster most of the time until it gets tedious. Need things like this to cool off from rat race and RL pressure cooker. I guess you could take up golf but I suck at it.

Isn't golfing expensive? I've heard club sets are like super expensive and I'd imagine you need membership to use the courses.

It's a platform i use to stay in touch with my family members living in other countries .

Varies. Widly. Some cheap municipal courses are $10 a round to full blown country clubs where deciders of universe hang out are $200,000 a year. Place my grandpa lives it's "free" with his $400/mo home owners association fees. Just add cart rental $5 if you don't have one. Everyone seems to have one though it's a retirement place and they drive around in golf carts 70% of time..

A great game, reached 8 years few days ago, and I don't have many regrets even if sometimes GGG take a direction I clearly don't like.


The only issues I will probably have forever are:

- Trading and the way it has been handled from the beginning

- Low design effort leagues, not that they are bad, just that there is much more that could be done to them without this three months cycle.

- The usual way they released leagues since years now. Tons of issues, and a lot of improvements mid-league that should have been there from the start.

That's what is PoE to me, this game you spend time on, that could have been much better with less stubborn choices.
