Golems who die from MI dont respawn
My build is an adaptation of Odealo's Burning Salvo Elementalist. In that build Golems are just buff bots. Along the way I had fun adding extra golems cause it was kinda fun -- turns out they are excellent meat shields for Rituals and bosses.
I have tried this with 6 golems and with the necklace to get 9. But the second I add Minion Instability they stop respawning. Maybe it is a problem like you the man said with game switching zones. The golems die most often during rituals and when you are in a ritual it is its own locked zone -- maybe when I come out of it, the golems arent respawning because it thinks I have moved zones. Just a guess. As it stands it is not a big deal, I only thought since I have them as meat sheild buff bots, the extra explosion might be small added bonus. I can live without it. But cant live without the buffs -- those rock. Will go back to steady life of 9 golem buff beauties who take all those beatings on my behalf (whilst I run around perimeter dropping fiery hell from dual spellslinging glory). But to the developers -- there is a bug with Golems NOT respawning if it was killed my Minion Instability. |

Just read patch notes --- dang no Golem love.
Tried again last night -- definitely an issue with Rituals and Golems respawning when killed by Minion Instability. THEY DO NOT RESPAWN. It appears it happens mostly in rituals, but I am not a big tester, I just know that after crazy-fight rituals I am down 2-3 golems and unless I re-cast them they dont spawn on their own. (please note that if I turn Minion Instability off, they respawn without issue). By the time they fix this I will be into next league and wont care (new build a league). Shame, because it would be nice to have self-spawning bombs. |

Been fooling around with the build and my Golems dropped a bunch of health and regen -- prone to die more now. So I tried Minion Instability...again.
The blowing up Golems work great. Especially on bosses. But I was hoping this patch there was a "silent fix". NOPE! But I have finally figured out the issue --- its the RITUALS. The Golems respawn as they should everywhere EXCEPT if they blow up during a Ritual. Now that I know what it is -- I am using Minion Instability full time. I just know that after every Ritual, check the Golem count and recast whatever is missing. Annoying, but doable. So Developer people -- that is where to start. Golems don't respawn during a Ritual -- or even after the Ritual is over -- if it died via blowing up from Minion Instability. I notice the Lightning, Ice and Carrion seems to be the worst culprits -- or maybe they just happen to be in the line of fire more (those fire ones hang out of the mix). |
