Trading is horrendous - Especially this time of the league!

We don't need fking auction "house". Only trading place. I hope GGG never implement your shit.

I have not played much this league due to time constraints, however, the OP raises a really good point about the death of trading at the end of the league. The arguments that the AH will accelerate progress to much are really only valid for the first few weeks of a league, so why not implement an AH that only goes live one month into the league.

The AH code is already in the China version and this may do a lot to extend league longevity.

My philosophy is this. If you aren't going to answer your fucking whispers for buying items that you are selling for one Alch, then don't fucking put items up for one alch at all... Vendor them instead!! That's what pisses me off. I mean, there's lots of stuff that I can sell for 1 alch, but it's not worth my time, so I just vendor it. Because I don't want to be that A hole that puts items up for an alch, but then never answers their whispers because it's not worth their time...........

Usually when they don't answer the 1 alch trades, I whisper to them, "don't want to sell it?, then remove it from trade!!!!!" , and then I immediately put them on ignore to make sure I never contact them to buy anything again, and I advise everyone else here to do the same....

It's reasons like this that so many people want an auction house....

- delirium orbs
- etc

ALL these ^ should be auto bought/sold, once you price them in a premium or their specific tab.

They arent craftable and are sold/bought in bulk, these are the real pain of POE trading.

For the other items, GGG could have new type of tabs you can buy with MTX for example, they work like premium tabs but people will be able to just buy it off from you once they click buy for example, without having to whisper you or anything.

Items that people want to buy in BULK should be auto traded.

The whole auction idea is good, however it gives new problems which is why they dont want it...and in fact...we wouldnt either

The problem this guy is having...isnt with the system...its the people...people are just stupid...they put stuff for sale which they dont intend to sell...

Therefor they should just make some kind of adjustment, that peoples listing will go off the tradewebsite if they dont make sales....I have no clue how that should work though...as its highly sensitive....but imo theres lots of ppl who have insane amount of public shyt...and they dont intend to sell it at all...

I know lots of ppl say....if I get a good offer I might sell...well that would be your problem now would it, and not the buyers.
This way you put the problem where it belongs...those people who dont really want to sell anything and flood the market with loads of stuff which never get sold....and buyers wont have to sppend time pming some1 who wont sell anyway...

I mean if every1 would just do what I do...we wouldnt have this problem...
You have a tab with sales for 1c....sometimes i dont want to be bothered low sales...and i put the public OFF...I get 1-2 replies when its not yet on website....i use my trademacro 1 click not trading right now or w/e

I mean what we really need is a game that isn't designed with trading as the primary advancement method, but baring that what we need is a game where trading is as readily available and the game design wants it to be.

They have concerns about the effects of an AH. That is valid.

Indeed, if you implement an AH without any restrictions, people will dump everything into it and it will become a sort of communal pool of items. Now many of us sell only units that are least 5c, 10c or even more depending on how highly you value your time. (and sanity). If sales are automatic, supply of those cheap items will increase dramatically. All the items that are supplied by the game more than they are used, will lose all value. That probably means most things that are currently below 10c would lose their value.

It would also mean that some items which are made from those items would become more common. For example, you may want to corrupt 45 jewels to get on average one with the corruption you like. The jewels are 5c, so the cost of a correctly corrupted one should be 250c but is probably more now because it is a terribly torture to actually buy the 45 jewels. With an AH, the amount of jewels supplied would increase and it would be very easy to buy them and corrupt them. The supply of corrupted ones will increase dramatically. Potentially also to the point of worthlessness.

However, there are so many other things one could do than simply say "no AH".
You could limit a player in how many items he can buy and sell per day.
You could limit how many items can be posted for sale by a player at any one time.
You could make a flat sales fee.
You could make a percentage fee.
You could make the sales happen only when you are actually online.
You could do different such things for different item types.
You can think of many more such options that i just pulled out of my ass.
And finally, you could rebalance the supply of certain items.

Its weakness to simply say no without considering solutions.

Theres too many items that people want especially when it comes to currency, but theyre so cheap no ones willing to reply or trade, unless its a big trade worth their time.

If GGG also doesnt want to make items to be traded automatically, at least make CURRENCY traded automatically.

And I mean give the buyer an option to buy currency without having to whisper 100 different people just to get what he wants.

Basically all items from every pecific tab you have available to buy, give them the option to auto sell.

Honestly really faking fully support what are you talking about.
If seller put at premium tab mean he want Sell It, no point to wait him and trade. Some afk. Some because mapping and see only 1c, then let it go, just ignore msg. One thing is true if the item worth about few ex, you can see that seller will invite you part in 3sec.
