Are streamers being paid to pretend they like this league?

Across the board, all streamers are acting like they love the league mechanic. While I get maybe some actually do, there's no way they all do. In my 8 years playing PoE, I've never had a league mechanic be so tedious I'm over with the league by day 2. I was checking a few streamers to see if they share the same concerns. Nope. All of them are saying how great and intuitive it is. Just not buying it.

You think that a streamer that is playing PoE because it's their job and that's their income is going to dis a PoE league? No way they would ever want to put off their viewers and decrease their financial income. It's purely a job for most of them (I'm sure some do like it) and being a professional gamer means playing multiple games 24/7 without being negative on the game they're playing because that's bad for business. Plain and simple.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

I can name you dozens of professional LoL players that dissed their game during their prime.

And by professional, I mean actual professionals not the fake shit that goes on with poe. People who are salaried by the game's company itself. And nothing came of it other than gathering public pressure to change the game's direction. No firings, no money cuts, no nothing. People value honesty more than canned happy-thought comments from streamers.
It can't possibly be that someone would like something that I don't like. They must be pretending.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

I remember when everyone thought DELVE sucked!! It was like me and a couple of other people on that first week who were fighting back against what was the popular opinion at the time.

First week of any PoE league has always been subpar. It takes a patch or 2 to make things more fun, Delve had the crap throwing issue for example, Metamorph had no auto organ loot. For Harvest it's no exception. Expect few patches to make the league more enjoyable.

The difference is those leagues actually had exiting ARPG content going for them, while harvest has no content. You can't improve on nothing.

Good news is, you dont have to "buy it". POE is free to play so you can experience it yourself and decide whether or not YOU like it. Why does it matter to you if they like it or not, or are being genuine about it or not?
It makes sense no? It is intuitive to them, they live and breath PoE. And honestly it's really not that complicated if you just sit down for a few minutes, read the tool tips and play with your garden a bit.

Also streamers mostly love crafting, its profitable and crafting a sweet item is fun for the streamer and fun for the viewers. Why wouldn't they like better and stronger crafting options?

The mechanic is a bit tedious but it seems like once you get things streamlined its pretty smooth. I'm sure the streamers all have this figured out by now.

See you in the next league, peace.

This league suck

People have spent hundreds/thousands of dollars on this game. Fuck off with the "it's frees" bs.
As with any new feature each addition is going to be polarizing. As the audience grows in size the company focus should be to make everyone happy by dissociating these polarizing features from one another with core gameplay rewards coming from various gameplay features.

PoE has a good handle on that in that you can reach the same conclusion without interacting with any of the various league mechanics. But some of it isn't flexible. Such as various league mechanics needing drops that come exclusively from maps.

A better approach would be to have these fully isolated so that you can just hop on and do nothing but Betrayal, or nothing but Delve, or nothing but Harvest.

Don't make the mistake retail WoW is making where there's only one gameplay loop to choose from. That sucks.
