Ghudda makes some good points, honestly capping is a pretty good solution to most things in this game for balance purposes, particularly if they ever want to make pvp work;
in the mean time, maybe voices should have a 1 limit, same with megalomaniac. without caps you can achieve 100% immunity atm with strength of blood and max total leech stacking on slayer as well, so this concerns not just aura stacking. Without caps its going to be harder for new content to be released without the potential of having the side-effect of the additions going overboard. The flow of the game should trend towards easier(via details like more efficacy per unit investment or more available investment possibility) to cap out one's stats, but have it so that when the stats are capped out, the character isn't completely off the map. you should be able to make characters that have max block&dodge but lack in damage. Or characters that reach say 75% less dmg (cap to be placed) via strength of blood, with good life, life on hit and but having no block/dodge. without caps, getting to this kind of balance would be fairly implausible. |
