A realization about Path Of Exile economy, from watching Streamers

poe economy is bad now. hope they will fix it

That's more a matter of people losing interest as it winds down.

I might actually be content ending on 39 just to avoid finishing that dreaded end game grind.
Yep, totally over league play.
Remove all sources of inc. quantity and rarity, all sources of increased movement speed like quicksilver flask, boots, tailwind, onslaught and delete all movement skills

Congratulations you fucked the game for everyone
Need more brains, exile?

stop comparing yourself to someone else.

play to enjoy it. yes, there is a grind to reach the crazy OP point that streamers are at. but you can do endgame without that nonsense.

Lol, man I bet you would be quite a good preacher in a church built in Brazilian slums...

Perhaps you'll come to the realization that you're probably not as efficient and/or play a fraction of the time as these "streamers". If you didn't put in the time and effort you're not going to get the same results; all I hear is crying over jealousy.

Man, those guys are being paid by GGG to promote their product, you think they don`t have any backing by the company regarding their game progress?

This is the same as believing that each youtube reviewer talking about the newest camera the Canon INC. released actually bought it from the shop to talk about it...
they don't need help to progress, if you play you rapidly acquire currency unless you deliberately play inefficiently and refuse to learn anything, which is kinda difficult even if it was your goal.

This is one of those things that doesn't require some grand conspiracy theory, most instances of streamer rng are viewed in isolation never in the context of 10hrs a day.

Give me a reason why they shouldn`t be helped by the company that pay them to promote their product ?
I can`t really think of a reason.

Don`t forget that some of them emerged from 0 to the streamer using this game as a base. Many of those also did the same using for example League of Legends...
These guys carriers are solely determined by the game that they are advertising. Some have more contracts than the others. And if you look from this perspective, if the guy needs to create content for several games he simply do not have enough time to do so, unless he gets help.

Its only completely natural to make this assumption even if its not entirely true. Because neither you or I knows the exact truth, on the other hand If I were the GGG manager, I would force these guys to use the help either knowledge regarding mechanics, or help from the devs in to choosing builds to promote, because spending days doing research just to think what to show the users that would hype them in to the game is already too much time consuming... When you create content, you already need to know the outcome, because leveling character and getting the right gear is really time consuming... Doing same shit for different games is another story.

Well that`s my 2 cents to the story, you can believe whatever you want, so can I, but when I turn on TV and I see that guy in the kitchen doing 20min video about these amazing kitchen knives I understand that the guy is doing an advertisement in some studio, not his actual kitchen and those knives he is using are being given to him and he certainly didn`t bought those...

If you actually think for 1 second that this is true, don't you think that it would have been leaked by now that it's true?

In regards to the OP, I did everything he's complaining about the streamers doing back in Delerium.
I was doing 20/20 Sim waves, Farming Sirus, etc...
I don't stream, I've never even seen a HH or a mirror and I've never had more than 50ex in my stash tab, ever.
Oh and I'm 50yrs old and work a full time job, so if I can do it, anyone can.

I'm in the same boat as you.

I always end up having Sirus on "farm". I always end up doing the hardest content. I always do my own builds from the ground up, and never look at other builds. Some fail, others don't - but that's the fun part about making your own builds.

I've had a HH once (Blight), never seen a mirror, never will - probably.
And I have a job. I have friends. I have other games I play. And I have a life (sort of) outside of video games. And on top of that? I only trade when I'm really stuck, or get my hands on something that's really worth selling.

But answers like these get ignored in threads like these, usually.

Being able to do "the same as streamers do" is completely OK, I mean they aren`t doing rocket science there... The point is that they do get help to constantly do it.. I wouldn`t be surprised if there actually were other people helping them for example to lvl up chars through the acts etc.. Because simply it takes time...

And talking about "it would have been leaked" like really? They got contracts that they cant overlook, just like you have one in your job for example of not disclosing certain information...
You are dependable solely from your image you create on your streams. Imagine doing that and eventually leaking this crucial information about yourself, your freaking channel is dead the next day...

There were many and many cases regarding reviews on youtube, at first no one mentioned anything about being sponsored by the manufacturers of the products that those guys were reviewing, there were people actually thinking that the guys buy those products in store, make a review, and that`s how he earns money from youtube views... Now we see more and more reviewers disclosing the information before the review that they were sponsored, or that the manufacturers sent them their products for the review etc...

This very same industry... Sure their might be guys solely only playing the game and streaming it trying to make money from views, but that is completely non profitable compared to the actual contract, that includes the company backing promoting your channel through the social media only the company can use, their FB page or whatever.. Being a random streamer without a contract, or any other backing, you simply wont gather the needed numbers...
The guys without contracts usually go the other way around, they criticize, because they are free to do so, and doesn`t matter if its POE or any other game the criticism is easy to do and if the game is loosing popularity the view counts are high, so these guys might be making more money from views, then the ones who are actually praising the game, they usually make money from the contract...

I usually don't like to answer/reply/debate with flat-earthers, moon landing is fake-folks and other people searching for conspiracy theories everywhere. They are too locked in their own "reality" too have a real debate. You will never believe that there's no "streamer RNG", no matter if it was proven to you.
