[3.13] Doomfletch Split Arrow Mines - Starter Viable - End Game Capable - High Damage, Low Budget

Played this up to lvl 85 in Metamorph. The power per chaos you get with this build is insane. Easily melted anything i threw on it. I did however not take it to the end-game bosses because I got distracted by another build before i quit the league.
hi,

question.. on your POB why is your chance to hit is at 95% even removing the gloves which has 590 accuracy. you dont have any accuracy nodes
Any ideas on the Trap variant? Is it even possible, viable?
Hey, I'm wanting to follow this as a starter for Delirium though I'm playing this start with someone who's starting out as a support build.

I was wondering if this works well with a support at all damage wise? I know the defensive auras will definitely help

If not I'll still be using this as a league starter(Because it looks beautiful) to somewhat carry them through the acts before I re-roll into something more support worthy

Hello there. Lovely written guide to the lovely video. Props to you!

I have been playing out different miners for the last few years and when your video came up on, wanted to try it. Can confirm 4L prism with leveling rare gear can easily handle early red maps on A8. So very successful!

However, using barrage support adds throwing time to the mines and felt especially bad whencompared to say Ball Lightning or Pyro mines for bosses; mostly because you are stuck in animation and have trouble dodging stuff. I believe this is going to be even more of a problem in 3.10 due to the mine throw time increase 0.25s->0.3s. What is your opinion on this?

At work atm so can’t PoB but how worse would it be to use barrage (Actual attack) and use another support for bossing instead?

Barrage definitely feels slow, for sure. After playing for a while, I ended up only using Barrage if the enemy either A: Was inactive, and I could throw mines while they talked mad shit to me, or B: If the enemy regularly locked themselves into a casting animation, and I could stutter step mines in between casts (Think Sirus's laser-laser-die phase). Edit: As for the nerf, it's basically 20% slower throw speed across the board. Annoying, but not terrible.

I think the best QoL for the build is being able to switch 6l on the fly, and using Barrage way less than you think you should. Haha.

As far as switching out the single target setup, using normal Barrage is actually a DPS loss versus just throwing out a regular split arrow mine. I think the only DPS increase ST setup you can run that isn't clunky like Barrage Support is Puncture, but then you lose major DPS if any of the arrows miss.

Towards the end of the builds "power curve" regular Split Arrow melts your regular map bosses anyway, and Barrage just sits in your back pocket, specifically for the purpose of preloading damage while the boss isn't trying to kill you.

If you have a chance of missing anyways with barrage on a moving target and puncture is a DPS upgrade wouldn't it be better to use puncture? if it's an upgrade on a boy you can preload on or catch in an animation puncture sounds the way to go. It sounds like barrage will miss just as much as puncture so there's no real loss only an upgrade....unless I'm thinking wrong.
hi,
very interesting guide, i am actually using it right now.

constructive feedback:
on the section ,,How do I level it? '' you mentioned At level 28 to equip Minefield however , that gem can be used only from level 38

keep it up , thanks for the guide
Hey buddy, can't decide if i wanna play this or fireball mines. In your opinion, which one is ''better'' in tearms of clear+single target. I know fireball mines is kinda meh until u have expensive items and u use pyroclast for st but what about this build, is there any good skill that could fit the criteria for gem-swap on ST or is it good as it is.
hello, order for the ascedancy ?

Probably works just fine, we have nothing "mine" specific. I don't see it playing better than Mines, but if that's your preferred delivery method, it won't break the build. WIll just need a different tree.

Yeah, you're not wrong. Here's my thoughts though: A single target setup with only puncture instead of split arrrow/barrage is only a 40% damage increase over just using your clear 6link. In my opinion, 40% more damage versus single targets isn't worth the 6link. Barrage, while clunky, does an amazing job at what it's intended to do, about 5x as much ST damage as split arrow, at the cost of not being useful most of the time.

But, there's nothing stopping you from running it! Give it a shot, and let me know how it plays.

It's tough to tell, fireball mines are good, and have no real "required" uniques. If you don't mind keeping a hawks eye on poe trade to get the uniques you need for this build, it'll be fine to start with, or if you start tomorrow, the uniques will be dirt cheap by then. But I'm biased. :p

Dammit, I always forget Ascendency points. I'll add that in the guide. Thanks!
