Understanding the RNG from a mathematical perspective

Magnets, how do they work?

Easy, Magnetic force. Just like Gravity works with Gravitational force.

Now as to exactly how these work - well there are probably quite a few Nobel prizes to be had in those explanations!

Sorry, sarcastic ICP reference. Youtube it for a good laugh.
Magnets work because of gravitational pulls of energy. Look at how a planet's gravitational field draws in objects from space, but also is able to keep planets in allignment. I'm sure any Scientist could cross reference the effects of planetary gravitation with the process of magnets.
With all intelligence, insanity becomes the backdrop of the good man, and will sooner become what usurps the good man.

If you tell a truth that people don't want to hear, the truth will imprison you.

What's the point of knowing the world, if the world never talks back and others don't listen?

If you'd have many sessions of 10000 kills and average out the number of chaos orbs per session, you'd get 1

I see what you are saying. Ultimately there is also a chance you will get 2 during that run of 10000. And therefore, given enough 10000 sequence samples, you'll eventually average out to an expected value of 1. I've long since forgotten on how to do the math of that, but I believe that if I remembered, you'd be right. :-P

Regardless, any single assessment of 10000 draws in sequence should not be surprised at getting nothing, as the chance of that happening was higher than you might first think. In fact, I think the cahnce of getting none in 30000 draws is roughly 5%, roughly 1:20. A "fumble," we'd call this in PNP games.

Do you squeal about the RNG gods in the sky when you fumble in PNP?

Not so much, no.
