PoE Mobile and why I'm not upset about it.
I hate mobile games. But I'm going to give PoE a go.
If you ask me; it's good to see GGG branching out. They've shown that they can do it without compromising the PC experience. Why would mobile be any different? |

Where does the OP come from believing that a mobile version of PoE from GGG will be "done right"? Since GGG can't give us great QoP in PC PoE now and I read that console PoE is even worse (don't own one) where if you're not very close to a PoE realm QoP is really shitty a lot of the time, then why in the world should we believe that GGG will make a smart phone version of PoE that doesn't lag to hell and beyond? GGG's track record on quality of play is pathetic for most players (I have shitty times on Networklayer fiber routinely/daily) so there is 0 reason to believe that GGG can even get solo play on a smart phone to work smoothly and cleanly (forget about party play). I'd love GGG to come out with a high QoP PoE for any device, but their home rolled custom game engine isn't optimized enough for that to happen and probably never will be.

announce a mobile game first is bad, announce the mobile version later is good. seriously if its good its good if its bad its bad don't be carried away. The POE mobile looks awful to be honest, the resolution looks like 240P The Diablo mobile looks ok as a product but born with sin as a Diablo game and a chinese outsource. I will play both but won't spend any money on them for sure. A casual gamer

I'll try it, but I'm not really into mobile games. I am glad they're making it in house and not a third party company that clearly reskinned another game they already published.

IMO, all ggg focus is on mobile game and that is why poe 2.0 is basically suffering a reskin a few tweaks here and there and basically more of the same content.

poe mobile is the final nail in the coffin of former great pc game.
simply because there is alot of compromises to be made when developing for consoles, clocks, toilet seats and pcs, and the pc always loses cause of his superior input control age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

" It isn't about first or last it is about either delivering this as a hyped big news - the only news after years of waiting - and put it in the hands of a firm that is already having a heavy monetized play to win game that is a clone of your game. Or give your customers every few months some new content and give them already enough that makes them happy at the announcement and put an mobile game without pay to win later on top. |
