How high are you on the ladder? I really don't agree, I think POE actually does require skill.

Its a PvE games that requires patience and cautious gameplay, like for example the Souls games. Not really a skill that stands out if you ask me.

I didn't say the people on the top 20 don't have skill because I know they do, but I would guess there are an awful lot of good players not on the top 20, probably many with better skill than the top 20 players on the ladder. They just don't spend hour upon hour grinding levels with groups.

In fact, almost by definition the most skilled players are NOT the top on the ladder because they don't spend time grinding levels (a relatively low skill occupation) but spend time trying out stuff in game, theory crafting, reading forums, talking to other players and other stuff that doesn't involve endless hours of grinding levels.

As to my own position on the ladder, dunno, never looked, irrelevant to me as I hopefully have made clear.
