Extreme performance issues during Legion encounters

As soon as I click on a Legion encounter my FPS drops to like 5 and all the monsters become invisible for a few seconds. The FPS also stays very low throughout the whole encounter, not just right after activating it.

I had absolutely zero problems during Legion league which I played for well over 2 months. I also haven't changed any of my hardware and/or settings on my computer.

For reference I am running an i5 + 1080 Ti.

Same here on a i5 4400 and a 1070, changing settings/resolution does nothing to help

I've come across those invisible monsters in several maps. Very annoying and hard to kill.

Same problem with legion encounters.

I5 6600k @ 4.5ghz, 16gb, RTX 2080.

Never, never had any issue in this game, but legion in blight is almost a slideshow -_-

Tried all settings possible on nvidia control panel and in game and nothing seems to matter, even rolled back nvidia drivers using ddu to a more stable driver and no dice.

the issue seems to be on high CPU utilization, be it legion pack spawning getting hit or a harbinger pack getting shattered.

Sent a email to ggg but i have given up alrdy, only thing left to do is to change pc parts which had no issues running the game prior to this league.

My hardware is this Core i7-3770K, 16 GB ram, Asus GTX1070TI Cerberus Adv., Samsung 840 500GB SSD and so far I don't have this problem.

Can it be a network setting thing (predictive / lockstep) ?

Tried both already and on multiple gateways, not a difference, like i said previously its probably CPU usage spiking and causing these drops, would you mind telling me which version of windows are you on?

The problems might have started after i updated to v1903...

The problems might have started after i updated to v1903...

I am also running Windows'10 build 1903 and now I think about I had lag this morning in a place I normaly don't have LAG (delve). That is the first time in a log time I have had LAG and my friend in the party was not having any LAG and we are on the same gateway.....

Edit.: I didn't have this lag after updating to 1903 but after the patches that was released this week.....

yeah it's wierd, during legion didn't have any problem at all, but now fps goes down under 10.

i7-4770K, GTX 960, 16gb RAM

- turn off xbox dvr in windows 10
- turn off fullscreen optimization for poe in shortcut/.exe - properties - compatibility, check the option
- check if any drivers having huge latency spikes with Latency Monitor https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
- use MSI afterburner or any other software to monitor CPU/GPU load/temp to check if its overloaded or not

me myself upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 1903 last week, and it doubled my fps, i also doesnt have any issues with legion encounters, only some fps drops in blighted maps near pump with shitload of loot

using

i7-2600 no K, Gtx 1060 3gb, 16gb ram, wd ssd + standalone client

and its never fully loaded cpu or gpu, but always fps spikes
