Extreme performance issues during Legion encounters

Solution for my frame drops at legion encounters and any other hight density mob fight was not graphics but sound. I had "Windows sonic for headphones" (some kind of surround sound simulation that was eating my CPU HARD) on. I turned it off, also set number of channels in POE sound options to LOW. Sound quiality is a little bit flat, but I don't care about that as long as it solves the problem. No frame drops, no missing textures - smooth as silk.

i5-4690/geforce gtx 960/8gb ram - so not the newest hardware but I'm always 140fps+

P.S. This might seem obvious, but make sure you run 64bit version of the exe file.
