You slow down the skills, and heavy nerf on multistrike, its going to feel like playing in molasses.


The attack speed is slower, but the repeats deal more damage, and we don't know if the current 30% less dmg modifier will stay. It could easily be a buff.

Then there's the revamped ascendancies to look at, the new rage support gem to make attacks faster etc.

So if you have 25k armour, it has 5000 life, and will deal a load of damage when it explodes.

Really disappointing patch.

Enki's got one of the best, if not the best, comprehensive build guide for new players to PoE that's available (self-cast arc witch), period, and you are just crapping all over the modifications he's trying to make to keep up with nerf after nerf to basic Elementalist functionality. Beacon of Ruin? MoM? Inpulsa's? All of these nerfs are hitting at the core of the most thoughtfully considered and beginner-accessible build available, a build that's crazy fun and not at ALL overpowered.

The guide has been constantly maintained and fastidiously updated for over 5 years, but this league may well be his last, due to you making it increasingly nonviable for a well-constructed build based around a core damage spell to succeed.

Shame on you.

they nerf things just that other skills will be more viable.

they nerfed ES and warlords mark to get more people into the melee "meta".
i mean, warlords mark is a meme curse now. attack builds doesnt need it and casters can no longer use it.

Fights in the first three Acts will be tougher BUT more responsive, involved and dynamic - why BUT ? u ment to say AND. BUT would be added if u had said BUT more REWARDING ;)

VERY NICE - Added new functionality to the Map Stash Tab which displays which tiers and maps have Elder or Shaper influence, or an Atlas Objective.

VERY NICE - Rage is now displayed along the top-left of the Mana orb, so you can see exactly how much Rage you have at any given time.

Animation Cancelling: You can now interrupt a skill with movement or a movement skill(really ?).
If you use a skill (any skill, not just an attack), you can now interupt the animation before it finishes playing(really?). If you do so before the point in the animation that damage is dealt (or a projectile is created etc...) you will not deal damage. There is a small window before this point where you will be 'locked into' the animation until the contact point, so you won't accidentally prevent yourself from dealing damage by being overzealous with your movement. You won't be able to use any other skills if you previously cancelled an animation after the point it would deal damage until that animation would have finished playing, meaning you can't use animation cancelling to artificially speed up your rate of attack. You can use a skill immediately after cancelling a previous one if it didn't have a chance to deal damage (or produce a projectile etc...).

SO - if u want to cancel an animation, after u throw a projectile, that would 100% hit its target, that wont deal dmg, it wont be counted. "FAIR" :))))

"LOCKED INTO ANIMATION" = Words that prove 100% u CANNOT CANCEL AN ANIMATION still.

Cannot use ANY other skills if u previously cancelled and animation (IS IT POSSIBLE IF IM LOCKED IN ANIMTION THAT I WANT TO CANCEL WHEN I WANT ?)

STOP LYING OUT FRONT PLEASE ! There is no change to the animation canceling demand.


Molten Strike - DEAD - NERFED 2 LEAGUES IN A ROW - WTF ???????????????
Now deals base damage equal to, and has an added damage effectiveness of, 120% at gem level 1 (unchanged), up to 130% at gem level 20 (from 160%). =)))))))))))))))))))))))) [Removed by Support]

Now adds 2 to 3 fire damage to attacks at gem level 1, up to 75 to 113 at gem level 20. - doesnt add up to other nerfs !
Now requires that you hit an enemy in order to produce projectiles, and splits the number of projectiles it produces evenly among all targets (if it can).
Projectiles now deal 50% less damage at all levels (from 40% less at gem level 1, to 30% less at gem level 20 previously). =))))))))))))))))))) [Removed by Support]
