dude just use a chaos orb. Of course u can run it.

there are 300 different mods but you'll still see these build breakers 1 in 4 maps

PoE isnt supposed to be played by just one character/for league.

You can just create new characters or sell/trade the maps u cant run.

Also, the builds that "can run anything" its usually a very good startleague builds exactly becaues of this.

there is some kind of "strategy" behind this mods and I like that. Removing it from the game because you don't want to sell/vendor/create a new character makes absolutely no sense.

i have 7 active characters, and can do any mods. the system is garbage however because it forces me to play one of my characters that i didn't want to play that day or to just put off doing that map for later.

its another thing ggg has in their game that makes me play at their pace and not mine.

its stupid and doesn't need to exist.

I like them all. Forces you to actually think about building something that can handle them all or at least a many as possible.

I've have a few toons who could do all map mods including reflect and i was very satisfied with them - not many though.

It's so awesome to run unid maps without worry.

Anyway it's just another thing that makes this game so deep while it's just an ARPG

if these 6 mods DIDNT exist you could play any build and run unid maps without worry.

it doesn't make the game deeper or more creative or whatever
you yourself think its awesome to not have to worry. why are you defending the mods that make you worry? what backwards logic is this?

Wrong again. "System" doesnt forces you to play anything.

again: use a chaos orb
My end, it justifies my means,
All I ever do is delay,
My every attempt to evade,
The end of the road
And my end....

I don't see a problem with map mods. Some are annoying but unless you get them from corrupting the map u can always reroll. The mods are there to create challenging content, remove them and you remove the challenge.

they dont add a challenge, these mods make certain builds just stop working. as in you CAN'T do them, AT ALL. thats not a challenge thats a broken system.

if your car just stopped working on every tuesday and the car manufacturer said "it's like that to make life more challenging" you wouldn't go "oh yeah that makes sense!"

I've made at least three characters that can run any map mod. They're out there. You have to plan for it. You might have to sacrifice something to pull it off. That's your choice.

Removing hardship from the game would make it so that the choices I made wouldn't matter. You would invalidate my accomplishments. As long as you're ok with that, carry on this discussion. But don't claim these mods "serve no purpose". Their purpose is clear. They make you choose.

They serve as traps. Pay attention to what you are doing and re roll out bad mods. It is that simple. Not every build is meant to clear certain mods on maps, map mods are designed to work with or against a variety of builds. Just because you don't like some mods doesn't mean they should be removed. These mods keep people aware of what they are doing, if they get complacent and run a map with a bad mod they rip.

Remove the burning/chilled/shocking/desecrated grounds, the only thing they do is to lower performance. Introduce a global degen and/or global players take % more damage instead.

Global degen being removed as a mod is the reason we have Desecrated Ground in the first place
