Path of Exile or that other game.

Here is my predicament, putting money, graphics and game play aside which i know both will have unique things to offer and will be good hack n'slash games, i was also really impressed buy path of exile open beta only problem is i don't know what to do now i'm hooked...

Do i buy a beta key this week for this great game and continue my level 40 character into ruthless act 2 and start other new characters in the 2+ months the closed beta will go for just to have the hard work rolled back to the old legacy league ?

Or do i just wait 1 month and 12 days for D3 and start fresh with a full game release ?

I'm thinking the later... (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

Once they stop being Activi$ions bitch, we can talk about it, but as long as they're bending over for Bobby Kottick, no thanks.

And don't get me started on the decline of their games.
Once so fantastic and proud, they're now mainstream dumb-it-down developers.

I am personnally trying to compare both productions, setting asside the fact that one is paying and the other free. I came to the conclusion that PoE is really in the same ballpark as D3. Graphic, game system, polishing etc. Everything is on par with a game that's being produced by a multi-million Company.

I am pretty sure i will enjoy both games evenly!

Now for the Beta, depending on the donation necessary, i might pitch in to get Beta access. D3 isnt coming out until May 15th anyways.

Play D3 when it comes out if you don't get POE beta, then play POE when it comes out too. What compromise is needed?

Why would not people play PoE until d3 is out. Then play for several months d3 until PoE is out. Than go to PoE and play it until d3 expansion is out... crap forghot about torchlight 2 and grim dawn. This will be a hard year for arpg fans, youl not know what youl play first.

I'm gonna play both, too bad i can't play PoE or D3 offline, since live in 2 places 1 of them where i don't got internet connection.

Sad thing with D3's DRM, pisses me off really.

seeing how little has changed from diablo 2 to torchlight(aka diablo3 alpha) and back to Diablo III

Yeah it's to awesome to give up now even if content is limited there is enough their to keep me going and interested will donate for a key i guess, but... because i don't have time i'm a one game man when it comes to hns and will be going to d3 mainly because i like the idea of a real money auction house and it's going to be full released and ready to go, even thou orbs works good in this no gold doesn't for me feel right but i can see the complications with it like 3rd party sites etc. and think it's a great innovative idea, so D3 is going to have to fail miserably to get me back to PoE, it's just a matter of bad timing for me unfortunately.
