GGG the new Blizzard North ?

After watching some of the videos and beta feeds I'm really impressed by GGG approach to their project. Not only they put lots of passion in every small detail but also they do listen to players and make this game as funny to play as possible.
It was the same with Condor which was later bought by Blizzard and renamed to Blizzard North. A small pack of dungeon crawler passionates made one of the best ARPG in the computer game history. Do you think GGG have a chance to repeat Max, Erich and David's tremendous success and mix with the big guys? Compared to Blizzard/Activision conglomerate they are underdogs but it seems they have that "something" which Blizzard already lost. |

Without a doubt in my mind!
GGG may be the underdog but in the end they shine brighter than any of the big companys. Plus they actually take the feedback into consideration and i do believe they will always. |

Well yeah, this proyect looks quite promising I can't wait to see what they will come with in the future. I have been waiting for Path of Exile months now, and for me this is much more interesting than Diablo 3.

Any game has the potential to be successful, but to be truly great it has develop/evolve through the fans ideas and suggestions (obviously not all of them though). GGG is doing remarkably well at this currently, and it shows in what I've seen from the game so far.

What will really make the difference is how well the players respond to the cash shop options. If things go well Path of Exile could be the next big free to play success story.

PoE already looks great, gameplay wise and graphics wise Of course by graphics I would mean the artistic concept on the game PoE has a long future |

" Many old school Diablo fans feel this way. While D3 is technically undoubtedly more advanced game it sort of lacks that old feel known from D1/D2. Blizzard changed the game spirit so much and made it more appealing to younger players. No wonder the old veterans feel disappointed with all these changes. This is where PoE may impact the market. This game has almost everything loved in the old Diablo games + much more! I'm sure the overall response will be very positive as many many players still love dark-gothic themes (as opposed to flashy & cute directions found in many other similar games). |

Technically Runic Games would be the new Blizzard North, but I have no qualms about having a second contender for that title.
