I used to participate in ladder events but then i took an arrow to the knee
awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome
Will these events be running using the recent prize scheme, or is something new being worked on for them?

I think it'd be really awesome for first place to receive a beta key (for themselves or a friend) in addition to the normal prizes either way.

5 classes, 4 races = 20 beta keys given away.
NewDude: I killed Brutus. Now I have no quest. So what now?
Guy: I guess there are people that NEED quests for direction.
Guy2: I always wonder how those people get through life.
GuyMontag: They get married. Wives are like quest-givers.

The prize details are in the threads. It's the traditional currency item prizes, currently. We may give out beta keys as spot prizes :)

One problem with pledging beta keys to the top people is that in all honesty, the top players are probably those who have not only played before (a lot), but also trained with dozens of practise runs.

Maybe worthwhile inserting something between event 1 and 2 indicating that during that time is when NZ will observe daylight savings (at 3AM NZ time it will become 2AM).
This is great ! I'm on holyday for one week this afternoon :p
so it`s the same event 4 times, after we had it every weekend ?

Makes sense right, this way those who haven't raced before have a chance to get used to the race structure, increasing enjoyment :)
6:00, 23:00, 12:00 and 4:00 for me. My sleeping schedule will be weird :D
