If it doesn't apply to unarmed, wouldn't the changes buff melee classes except Face Breakers?
Its almost like a nerf.
Kinda strange that Cleave and Sweep don't use weapon range. Wouldn't it make sense for them to do so? Ground Slam not using weapon range makes sense, since the damage isn't actually being done by the weapon directly hitting enemies.

This also seems counter-intuitive to me. Cleaving with a 1-h sword and cleaving with a poleaxe should make some sort of difference.

In other words, this only affects single target skills ? Or are some AOE range dependent ?

If it is restricted to single targets, will it really have any meaningful impact ?

I don't know why you'd want them to, if the range of a 2h with the range buff is less than half the range on those abilities it'd be a huge nerf.

I think he means make it something like cleave is 200% weapon range so that 7(5+2) 2 hand range would be 21(7x3) and a 1 hand would be 18(4+2= 6, 6x3 = 18).

That would make the node much more sought after. Adding +2 range to only single target skills isn't really any help, but if skills where changed to use weapon range it would be something worth having and would also make sense to have 2 handers have a longer range with skills such as cleave.

Yeah Mark_GGG - why does melee range not affect Cleave and Sweep? The enemies are being hit by the weapon in your hands, not indirect damage from it like GroundSlam.

I'm sure there's a really obvious, perfectly sensible reason for it, given that you guys are the developers who actually know the mechanics behind the scenes, but would be great if you could enlighten us!
