2 hardware tips.

1. Use the lowest settings, the higher ones do not change the graphics that much. In this game not having stuttering is a must.

2. Cap your FPS to 60, it'll do wonders for your performance.

I think I left everything at default I will check. I do not play in 2K or 4K mainly 1080p at 144 Hz.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks Kuddman I was a all over the place on my first build. The new build I am looking for particular passive bonuses. I am enjoying a Blight, Contagion / Wither setup with Void Manipulation support. It felt odd at first I see Shadow like a Rogue type character but then I was thinking of Elder Scrolls Online the NightBlade I played as a caster and it was a very fun build.

In that case you might also want to give 'Essence Drain' a try. It is supposed to be used in combination with Contagion (if a monster is affected by contagion and essence drain, both, essence drain and contagion will 'jump' to monsters close by when the first monster dies).

Also, considering the passive tree that you had open in your photo: critical strike chance will not affect the damage over time dealt by essence drain, blight, or contagion. People using these skills normally ignore critical strike chance completely...anyway, hope you are having fun, seeing as your shadow is level 14, it should still work out easily and some explanations might be overkill at this stage ;).

I was looking over that type of build on The Twilight Strand called the occultist but they use the Witch class vs shadow I imagine it work the same.

why are you guys taking it so slow? 7 stream in and still in act 2. do you need help how to progress faster?
Playing with kids only about 30 mins to hour so it may be slow. Also clearing each area to know the different locations and layouts.

The wife is a loot hoarder so she enjoys going through entire areas. I am sure this weekend since the kids are out of school will be going through a lot more of the content.

i just saw you did the riverways and western forest about 3 times each when you only need to do it once, just try to run through zones as quick as you can, no need to run the same zone 3+ times
We did get a bit turned around in the Encampment in regards to the quest on each side. NavyBlueFish showed us last night the best way to see where you need to go for the quest.

By hitting U bringing up the zones and selecting the tiles for the quest and looking on the map for the location.

We had not been doing that just selecting a side and going to explore so we ran around in circle indeed. Thanks for the info.

Anything else you recommend do let me know. We are open for ideas, tips and any info.
