First thanks for the Build, im using it and have much fun with it.
I have a Question: " Ive read your post multiple times but i dont see in the gem section the reason for using Purity of Ice? So im asking why chosing Purity of ice? Thanks | |
" It's all about the configuration Section!!! You're shocking and igniting, so check that both of those for the enemy. Most of the time you will have blocked recently as well, so you can choose to check that or not. If you're clearing maps with blood rage, you'll have frenzy charges, so you may want to leave that unchecked for your boss dps. PoB with these things: https://pastebin.com/dUMmuw86 You're doing 344k per Brand VERSUS Shaper. (305k without blocking) 458k against non boss. Your damage is great! I wrote half of the guide, and lost it. I had it in the previous section! I'll need to re-add it.
The most damaging part of Uber Elder is Shaper's projectiles (Cold) and Elder's protectiles (Cold). Most the the physical damage isn't too bad, except for slams. Cold is the concern. Also, Watcher's eye with Physical damage taken as cold and Taste of hate with physical damage taken as cold with purity of ice (even without purity of ice) gives us massive physical damage reduction. | |

" "Nearby" is actually a pretty large range XD. Note how far things are when they get webbed with Aspect of the Spider. |

Edit: I ditched the possibility of making cold the lowest resist with Wise Oak AND Taste of Hate. Just too wasteful with affixes. Also I've settled on using Malachai's Artifice.
