stupid phrases we hate

"Hard-working R'lyehians" and their "hard-earned money".

I don't hate "R'lyehians", just these two phrases. I shouldn't have to specify.

I've read too many political debates on the forums I frequent.
A man, shirtless, wearing black leather boots and long gloves, a torturer's apron at his waist, shank in hand, surrounded by dead babies.
'I know I speak for the rest of us.'

'Sorry, we out of ....,'

Luke: Sorry we have to leave you here, but it just ain't right to eat your wife's and daughter's brains. Plus you're really disgusting and I don't want to spend anymore time with you.
I'm not sure if this belongs here but I can't stand it when people type would of/could of/should of.

Which of the following two sentences is correct?

1. I have done it.
2. I of done it.

Clearly it's the first one. Now add one extra word:

1. I would have done it.
2. I would of done it.

Nothing else changes! Stop using the second one!

Doesn't this stand for "in my humble opinion"?

I usually go with honest too but i dont know the official ruling on this one.

May those who defy their fate be granted glory."

Any word that begins with a hashtag should have the posters head be target practice for flying dropkicks.

Or the best one yet:

"Welcome, Baby Hashtag"

Trust me, there will be more than enough people to welcome Hashtag to the inside of their Jr. High Locker in about 12 years...and every day during study-hall, a common event will occur in the hallways, called the "Hash Bash".

Thanks Mom & Dad.

Then people wonder why bullying is so rampant now, because parents are giving their kids stupid goddamn names...

A phrase I hate is "Beta is beta" or "It's not finished yet", "They'll update it" anything else that people use to justify a bad game.

That's what I've been told anyways.

Too unpersonal, you have to stand really far away. Canister of gasoline will do the job

edit- i use "imho" all the time, but mostly to lighten up the insult that inevitably follows :(
