can we please stop the power creep, already? (or better - reverse it)

I loved Post-nerf ES, it felt way more balanced and let room for more defensive layers instead of just "Add more ES". I can understand the powercreep fast pace mentality (to a point), but the new ES doesn't make any sense in general.
I understand it allow more DPS stacking w/o sacrificing defense, but at a certain point, there is nothing that won't die at 10M dps in less then a second, sacrificing 1M dps for a defense that is not more ES would still be valid in general.
Unless ES as some untold damage reduction of some sort, I don't see why they didn't do that in the first place insteasd of just buffing ES to a ridiculous degree.
Man, it's almost like sinking a shitload of time and currency into gear results in crazy gear.

You act like these items are literally handed to new players on Twilight Strand. Fukken 71 pages of like three people circle-jerking about something the vast majority of us will never, ever see.
This is a buff™
Right it's almost as if this game stopped being about gear several years ago, and is instead about getting progression behind random map drops.

And in terms of availability to the four sigma above average player these might as well not exist.
WAT

yeah, who could POSSIBLY find/make a glove/boot/helm with an implicit and run the lab.

friggin' unpossible.

WTF?! Items sell for much more?! How does it even work? Does it mean you can sell a chaos recipes for 5 instead of 1?
I was not excepting this to even be possible. And it begs the question, How do you even get that?!

That's a tripple fractured and synthezized item rolled with a gilded fossil, the gilded fossil adds the - fun but mostly useless - implicit to it.
GGG balance is like getting a pizza which is burnt on the sides, raw in the middle and misses the most of the toppings.
Then upon sending it back you get a raw side, burnt middle and enough toppings to drench everything in grease.
Everything fixed but still broken.

So first you need to find three high tier fractured bases, and get them the right mods, and then you need to spend a lot of currency crafting them just right, and then you need to get lucky, and then you need to run the lab for your 1 in 400 lab helm enchant. Yea totally this is easy.

They're throwing on more power high end gear, but it's not more common it's proportionally harder to get.
