By the way, I don't get PoE fanatics' disgust about Blizzard. Blizzard makes great games, WoW is a fantastic product with real, working PvP -not that turd PoE has failed with. PoE is a great game also. Sure, there are many things I'd loved to fix with all of those games, PoE included. Is it going to happen? Don't know, can't code either.

Hey, at least the D3 errors had a name and you had a rough idea what went wrong. Would love to know what causes my crashes.

Didn't like a lot of the Blizzard stuff for quite a while and the changes they made were often completely the opposite of what people wanted. Now they've recently started to change that, especially in WoW and Overwatch, showing very positive progress.
I personally feel that GGG and Blizzard are slowly switching up in terms of listening to their communities. GGG is only reacting to league breaking bugs / problems but for the leagues themselves they only pretend that they're making changes while Blizzard is actively making changes now exactly how the community wants.

Blizzard's( recent) solution to alleviating bland, frustrating grind: Try exactly what the community wants the most.
GGG's solution to alleviating bland, frustrating grind: Just change some numbers on both ends to create an illusion that a positive change was made OR make changes when the league is dead already. Too many leagues have been destroyed like that already and many more in the future if nothing changes.

Oh D3 is great. If PoE didn't exist I would still be playing that. Probably got over 1500 hours into it across pc and ps4. It's not without lag though, not for me at least.

For me the breaking point in D3 was when in a certain season I checked the leader boards. All the top paragon levels from a class had the same gear and the same skills with the same runes. It was.......eye opening. I decided I didn't want to play a game where the choices were so limited because set items dictated everything.

People might complain about build diversity in PoE but it is much much better here than it ever was in D3.
