If you had a time machine would you go back in time and kill baby Hittler?
That's a very real possibility

" There's also a sci-fi book about this very topic, read it a long time ago, and it was just a short novel, but very well thought. I think there's also an episode of some old tv series, maybe "The twilight zone"...
Spoiler
In the future they invented a time machine and soon after a time police was enforced to regolate and protect the timeline. One guy though manages to get inside the time machine and goes back to kill Hitler - he had some personal reason, can't remember - but a time policeman finds out and stops him by also going back; he does so because if Hitler was killed as a baby, some unknow kid would not have died in WWII and he would become even worse, killing all humanity in the end.

Don't fuck with the timeline
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

"That's not how it works, at least not how I see it. Technically, time travel backwards should be impossible, as it violates causation. However, assuming infinite parallel universes and/or a means to create them, there exists (or could be made to exist) a parallel universe in which everything occurred as it did in our universe except that it is currently 1890 (and obviously events that occurred in our universe after 1890 haven't occurred yet). So what you're really doing isn't time travel backwards, but travel to a mirror universe in a state precisely identical to a previous state of our own. Thus, according to my hypothesis, "time travel" back to my infant self, followed by me killing "myself," shouldn't cause me to blink out of existence, because in my home "timeline" I would still live until "time travel" but in the visited "timeline" "I" — not me so much as my doppelganger — would be dead. This is the hypothesis I'd be testing. When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted. You guys haven't seen Kung Fury?!
Hacking time to kill Hitler totally works. ![]() Personally, no I wouldn't kill any baby. If future apocalyptic warrior badass Tiger couldn't go back in time and kill Baby Kronish, then yeah nah, I couldn't off baby Hitler. ![]() From the brilliant show Futureman. |

I would go back in time and help him with his art and whatnot.
then I'd kill whoever first came up with this stupid question Oblivious

I like that, helping him with his art.
He could have been a starving artist caught up in the hyperinflation of the post Versailles period, unless he went to Paris, where he could have maybe hung out and quaffed absinthe and gotten laid. Still, someone totalitarian would have come to power in Germany, with that climate. Maybe Goering, instead. They might have won the war, him being much more stable and experienced in warfare. Then they might have cooked up a Final Solution for the world. |

If there was a point to it sure why not.
But hitler was a product of his time and so was nazi germany, killing 1 man would not have changed those times. The treaty of versailles for example was in large part responsible for the creation of nazi germany killing one man changes almost nothing and ww2 still would have happened. [Removed by Support] Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command.” Last edited by jackof8lades#6863 on Oct 1, 2018, 5:22:09 AM

Spoiler
But it didn't? In a bootstrap paradox, their going back in time to kill the worst criminal of all time for shooting up the police station (and to stop him from becoming Kung Fury himself), is not only what ultimately led him to 1980's Miami in the first place, but the events shown in the aftermath strongly indicates that they might have succeeded only in making it worse.
You won't get no glory on that side of the hole.
