Hi guys, im a real Facebreakaholic and here is my Guide wich gives You millions of damage for all available UNARMED Skills in Wraeclast.
This will be a Crit-Version wich means you cant use this as a League-Starter because you need the Rigwald's Curse Amulet. So these are the core items from this Guide:

Detailed & Gem Links

The Facebreaker is one of our core Items - if you can, get some with a Curse on hit corruption, Temporal Chains for defense or Elemental Weakness for offence.
The Cast when damage taken setup requires specific levels so i will write them for you too. note this: "This Gem can only Support Skill Gems requiring Level (XXX) or lower"

Gems: CWDT (lvl 5) -> Immortal Call (lvl 7) -> Frost Bomb (lvl 12) -> Ancestral Protector

The Abyssus gives us the most damage with alot of Physical to attacks and Crit Multi. Here we have our Movement Skill Setup.

You can also go with another Helmet if you have problems with dying too fast and are feared by the increased Physical dmg taken. I recommend one of the following Helmets, BUT keep in mind you will loose HALF the dmg from this Build: Deidbell, Rat's Nest, Starkonja's Head or Devoto's Devotion.

Deidbell offers you at least some physical damage to attacks together with some increased melee damage, but also comes with a average downside, IF you are out of the slayer overleech and are low life than you cant leech you back. To counter this you should take a hybrid life/mana flask in your setup just in case.
Rat's Nest offers you some more critical strike chance together with attack and movement speed.
Starkonja's Head offers you alot of life, together with some crit and attack speed.
Devoto's Devotion offers you more movement speed than the other and some nice additional chaos res.

Gems: Shield Charge -> Faster Attacks -> Fortify -> Blood Magic

The Lycosidae gives you all the Accuracy you need: 100% through "Your hits can't be evaded". The Vaal Cold Snap is a Frenzy Charge generation against Bosses. You can pick Blood Rage instead for a better mapping experience.

Gems: Hatred -> Herald of Purity -> Vaal Cold Snap (Blood Rage)

The best and cheapest Armour for us is the Loreweave. This armour gives us a huge dps boost, some life and raises the max resistances up to 78% [they nerfed it down from 80% to 78% in 3.6] (and they are fix, wich means they cant go higher through flasks, but also cant go lower from map mods like -12% max res).

I listed the different Skill Gem Setups in a seperat Section

Our Boots are the Kaom's Roots wich gives us Stun & Freeze Immunity ("You cannot be slowed to below base speed" -> Freeze would be zero Movement Speed)

Our Belt is a Darkness Enthroned with some sick Jewels in it. They should have a high "Adds # to # Physical Damage to Attacks" mod, "+# to maximum Life" and if you can "#% increased Attack Speed if you've dealt a Critical Strike Recently" (or another attack speed Mod). Try to get at least one with "+#% to all Elemental Resistances". The true endgame mapping belt is ofc the Headhunter.

Our Rings are two "The Taming". These Sick jewel give us up to "40#% to all Elemental Resistances" and up to 120% Elemental Damage if you have Shocked, Freezed & Ignited an enemy recently

Our Amulet is our seccond core item because it gives us the possibility to deal Critical Strikes while UNARMED and we can take Claw notes to further increase our DPS

Our Jewels should be same like in the Belt with a high "Adds # to # Physical Damage to Attacks" mod, "+# to maximum Life" and if you can "#% increased Attack Speed if you've dealt a Critical Strike Recently" (or another attack speed Mod). I also recommend a Watcher's Eye with the Hatred Critical Strikes Mod. I also recommend an "Unnatural Instinct" for ALOT of nice bonus stats & a huge DPS boost.
But keep in mind that you have to take the Spell Damage notes because you only get the bonus for UNALLOCATED notes ;)
Unnatural Instinct

Because we are nearly always full life thanks to the Slayer Overleech we dont need a Life Flask and can focus full on damage Flasks. A Diamond Flask with Bleed Immunity, Taste of Hate, Atziri's Promise, Lion's Roar & Wise Oak

Gem Links

Here you will find all Gem Links wich i prefer for some of the different UNARMED skills

Ice Crash:

Ice Crash -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia
You can also Swap Hypothermia with Multistrike if you feel better with more Attack Speed

Consecrated Path:

Consecrated Path -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia

(Vaal)Cyclone:

(Vaal)Cyclone -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia

Smite:

Smite -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia

You can also Swap Hypothermia with Multistrike if you feel better with more Attack Speed

Tectonic Slam:

Tectonic Slam -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia

You can also Swap Hypothermia with Multistrike if you feel better with more Attack Speed

Shield Charge:
(yes you can use this as a Damage Skill ;)

Shield Charge -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Increased Area of Effect (Concentrated Effect) -> Hypothermia

You can also Swap Hypothermia with Faster Attacks if you feel better with more Attack Speed

Infernal Blow:

Infernal Blow -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Ruthless -> Hypothermia

You can also Swap Ruthless with Multistrike if you feel better with more Attack Speed

For Clearing you should switch at least Elemental Damage with Attacks with Ancestral Call and maybe another one with Melee Splash too

Dominating Blow:

Dominating Blow -> Melee Physical -> Elemental Damage with Attacks -> Physical to Lightning -> Ruthless -> Hypothermia

You can also Swap Ruthless with Multistrike if you feel better with more Attack Speed

For Clearing you should switch at least Elemental Damage with Attacks with Ancestral Call and maybe another one with Melee Splash too

PoE Planner Link - Level 91 Skilltree

Skill Tree Parts 1 - 93

Part 1 We go straight to the Claw Leech notes. So as soon as we can use our Rigwald's Curse amulet we have some nice Life & Mana leech. We also take our most important Defense notes: Acrobatics and Phase Acrobatics.

Part 2 we go into the duellist area and pick uo some good Life notes. We also do the first two Labyrinths and take the Slayer Ascendancy.

Part 3 Now we fill up the area around the Shadow and take our seccond Ascendancy, the Assassin, from the thrird Labyrinth.

Part 4 After that we do the final Labyrinth and respec the way from the Scion to the Shadow area because we can now take the Shadow Startpoint too. We also take Vaal Pact and fill up the area behind the Templar.

Part 5 Now we have our skeletal structure and fill up every open spot like Jewels and Life.

The Pantheon

Major Pantheon

I prefer the Soul of Arakaali with 5% reduced Damage taken from Damage Over Time. You can upgrade this Soul with some nice additional effects like 30% reduced Effect of Shock & Shock duration and 25% Chaos Resistance against Damage Over Time.

The Soul of Lunaris gives us up to 8% physical reduction against groups of enemys. The upgrades from this Soul arent realy helpfull at all.

The Soul of Solaris gives us up to 6& physical reduction against single enemys. You can upgrade this Soul with some nice additional effects like Take no Extra Damage from Critical Strikes if you have taken a Critical Strike Recently

Minor Pantheon

I prefer the Soul of Abberath because i like to be Unaffected by Burning Ground.

The Soul of Gruthkul is a good alternative wich provides us up to 5% additional physical dmg reduction.

The Soul of Ralakesh is a good alternative too with 25% chance to avoid Bleeding and 25% reduced Physical Damage over Time Damage taken while moving if you dont use the Death's Door Boots.

The Soul of Ryslatha can help you in the Labyrinth with Life Flasks gain 3 Charges every 3 seconds if you haven't used a Life Flask Recently.

The Soul of Shakari is also a good Chaos reduction choice with works very well together with the Major Soul of Arakaali. It provides 5% reduced chaos damage taken & 25% reduced chaos damage over time taken while in a caustic cloud and makes you immune to poison after Capturing Terror of the Infinite Drifts in the Desert Spring Map.

Enchantments

Helmet

For DMG:
40% increased Damage for YOUR prefered Skill
For Defense:

For Others:

Boots

For DMG:
Damage Penetrates 10% of Enemy Elemental Resistances if you haven't Killed Recently
For Defense:
8% chance to Dodge Spell Damage if you've taken Spell Damage Recently
10% Chance to Dodge if you've taken a Critical Strike Recently
For Others:
10% increased Movement Speed if you haven't been Hit Recently

Gloves

Remember: The best we can get is an on hit corruption (Temporal Chains for defense, Elemental Weakness and Vulnerability for Offence).

But the best Enchantment would be Cast Commandment of Reflection when Hit (because the clone takes some dmg for us)

DONT look at the Skill Gems inside the items listed below they may be different from the Build Guide!

First of all you need to know that you can only go into crit after you get the Rigwald's Curse amulet, wich provides the ability to do a critical strike while UNARMED. Addtional i highly recommend to use the Lycosidae wich solves you accuracy problems (you can go straight into Resolute Technique so solve your early accuracy problems, but dont forget to respec out of RT as soons as you get the Shield).

The this would be the core items before this build realy begin to shine:

The level requirment are lvl 16 for Facebreaker, lvl 11 for Lycosidae and lvl 28 for the Rigwald's Curse Amulet.

So a good question is what you should use until you can wear the Facebreaker (lvl 16). I dont prefer a certain weapon so its up to you. You should just prefer a weapon with high Physical Damage. A good early Melee Skill Gem is Molten Strike together with Ancestral Call Support. As soon as you get the Facebreaker you can choose your prefered UNARMED Skill Gem.

List of Unarmed skill Gems

Next to mention would be some good early game Items, I prefer these:

Wanderlust Boots for Freeze Immunity and good Movement Speed.

A Tabula Rasa for a free 6L until you get your Loreweave (or a cheap rare 6L with a good Life roll).

As Helmet i would start with the Goldrim and later take the Deidbell until you can wear the Abyssus.

Our Rings would be some with a high "Adds # to # Physical Damage to Attacks" roll with some resistaces and life until you can get your hands on The Taming Rings.

Same for the Amulet until you can wear Rigwald's Curse.

As Belt i would suggest a Meginord Girdle wich gives you a good phys roll together with some attributes, res and life.

best option would by with "Resolute Technique" and a high phys dmg shield, until you have the amulet and the Lycosidae Shield. after that you can go full crit

I want to do this build now that facebreaker gloves dropped on me, however I'm waiting for that leveling portion to come out, hopefully detailed.

A tabula Rasa will be a quick way to get a 6 link before you get loreweave 6l-ed... since most of this gear is 72, and for levelers not much to go on but rares, also since the gloves are level 17, what should we start off doing before facebreakers?

How important is 6 link loreweave? If I can't afford a 6 link atm, will it be a big difference between 5 and 6 link?

Level 61 right now, damage is good so far, look's great.
