(DHC - 1:105!!) There ain't no rest for the botters...

Tanky HC bots still going strong too? O_o

I wonder how they level them before they get flasks, gear and whatnot? Probably manually or it might take a while. Can bots gear up themselves yet? O_o Like identify items and equip if they want them or even craft...

Stronger than ever. Just imagine today ex goes for 1:75c on DHC and it is just crazy(compare to previous HC prices in my first post). Now price is even higher than it was on Incursion SC after banwave and 25% higher than Incursion HC before banwave.

As for bots and how they level, I dont know how they do it. Maybe they can level automaticly on HC too(as we can detect them in Sarn Encampment). But I guess they just level and gear 1 char and then powerlevel all the botters accs in few hours with it.

Also I think another big player in cracking HC economy is Real Money Traders(RMT). I've found a crazy amount of botters and RMT profiles on poe.trade. But I can't post their nicknames due to GGG forum rules.

I see. Gotta at least report RMT'ers and botters if you catch them red-handed. I am not sure though how GGG would react if you report someone and don't actually have 100% proof that they are botting / rmting except of movement pattern or something hmm.
GGG can't. The bots are originating in China and Tencent won't allow GGG to stop their own country's creations.

Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration.

Well. It is pretty easy to find a botter/RMT. U don't even need a movement pattern video. Just check his profile and trading activity. If u see someone with 1 month acc, created before the league and this guy sells like 2000 chaos(on HC, It could be much more for SC, like 3k+) each day without selling ex, but only buying it, if U see he has 500+ selling lots, how can u even think that he is a real guy? Yea probably, he is not botting from this profile, but he sells currency from his other bot accs. So all the thing GGG need to do - just check logs of the reported guy. They will find all the proves much more easy than we.

But U will not find all the botters this way, just the most of them that are stupid enough. All others can be dealt with GGG's pro I think.

I wonder if they actually bother to check anything if you make such reports. I reported a couple of people, but the only way to check if something was done is via their profile (and even then I heard they just give bots no drops) status and that's about it. They don't tell you anything, if person actually did something wrong, if they checked - nothing. They don't disclose anything.

It is true. U can't even know if it works or not. But it still should mean something(or why this option even exists?). As I said in my first post, my main goal is to make sure that GGG will not forget about HC if they plan to stop the bots this time. Probably they won't, who knows. In summary ppl actions and GGG's attention must give some result and I hope it will be positive.
The main power against botting is GGG by itself. If we take Incursion banwave, I don't think that all this banned ppl were reported. It is most likely that some GGG's algorithm found them. So the main thing we can do is to point problem area to pay GGG's attention, and they will do their job. I think it works this way.

P.s. 1:105 SC 1:76 HC. Going further?

I'll just copy my post from other theme with the explanation, how chaos inflation works.

"
Alfatin wrote:
Let me explain how bot chaos inflation works. Botters are actually massive. When RMT do botting, they don't run a single bot, they run 5, 10 or even more. Someone written that in last banwave one single ip used 100 bot accs. Now what the clue to inflation? Answer: chaos recipe. Chaos recipe is very boring thing to do manually, but a bot can do it without a problem.
In last league, when there was an Alva loot pinata I tried to do chaos recipe by myself. I've set up my lootfilter to show different pieces of gear in different colours, I organized my quad stash tab to make it efficient. Well... chaos recipe made me about 200c in 80 maps, so It was like 40c/h. I stopped doing it after few days, because it was extremely boring and usual map chaining was much more satisfiing.
So. Lets say a botter don't do 40c on CR with all this tabs managment. Let's say he do 30c/h. It means if he run 10 bots, he will produce 300 pure chaos/h. As bots are not ppl and can run 24h/7 it means he will produce 7200c a day. Which is about 70ex in current rates only from doing chaos recipe. Now, Imagine that all this things are done by 100 and more bots(there are thousands of them in reality - just check player's number drop after Incursion banwave). And all these accounts buying Ex at the same time period, driving prices higher.
Is is clear now, where all this chaos inflation come from?

Additional chaos drops form currency nodes in delve does not change ex prices much, cos this nodes drop ex too. But CR produces pure chaos, increasing its number in the game with the same number of ex, and this drives inflation.

And now, when people see all these bot trains, bot sites activity and a ton of sellers selling 3000+ chaos each day, after incursion banwave, which dropped ex price by 60%, after we saw that overall accounts number dropped by 11000(from 53k to 42k - Steam site) after the banwave, people like U keep saying things like "Bots? What? It is just normal economy".

EDIT: My theme is about HC bot problem. As I said in my first post, usual Ex ratio on HC was always something about 2-2.5 times lower than SC. Like 1:55 SC and 1:24HC on bestiary or 1:180 SC 1:60 HC on Incursion. Now we got 1:105c SC 1:75c HC. Noone says that people started getting more chaos drops only on hardcore, right?=) I'm trying to show GGG that HC got flooded by bots, as noone ever banned them here.
