[3.17] Hybrid's Molten Strike Jugg - Hold right click to TANK anything |MELT the Atlas|Divine Flesh|

"
what do you think about drop sword and use Dreadsurge + sprinkler for dual hand? price of giving up little bit of defence

not gonna work.
the sword is the BiS item for this build.

because of:
Accuacy - better chance to hit and more attack speed due to jugg ascen node.
Attack Speed - best way to scale the damage really.
+2 balls - HUGE damage and defense boost.
Point Blank - again, MASSIVE boost to damage.
Iron Reflexes - more armor while standing.

nothing can beat that.

also the shield grant ~200 flat life which turns to ~700 life.
if you really dont want to use the shield just get another Grelwood Shank for damage boost.

Is there a leveling tree that we may be able to use as a guide as well? Thanks for the build.

i just went with what i needed.
the lower part of the skill tree is for late game.

i would start with the upper part and then go left.
leave the the scion big life wheel for last because we are using kaoms heart and life at the lower tiers maps isnt that important yet.

ofcourse feel free to spec the points where ever you need.

i will add some leveling tree to the guide.
Hi!

Any alternative for the Watcher's Eye Jewel? It's hard to find one with the correct mods and the ones I did find are extremely expensive.

for survivabilty you really want that leech mod.
you can look for the vitality life leech mod instead and switch Herald of Ash with Vitality.

but its not ideal, you lose damage and you get less mana to work with because vitality reserves more mana.

if you cant afford a watcher's eye, just use another rare jewel with life and attack speed.

1 more question. is the ignite really strong in this build?
I feel like elemntal focus does more damage. Am I missing something?
PS. i see ppl using same passvie node as this and gears except using loreweave with Molten Strike, Inc AOE, Ancestral Call, Elemental Damage with Attacks, Elemental Focus.
Pros compared to our build I can think of is bigger aoe without dying sun and 80max res from that chest.
Cons could be less hp, less dmg(not sure about this.)

What do you think?

they are molten rankers in delve league I'm talking about :D

@Hybridboy,

On what level we should keep the CWDT, Immortal call and the golem to trigger them nicely?
Is anyone playing something like this on HC? How does it feel?
Pretty sure I have seen this build before.

elemental focus will yield less damage because you cant inflict elemental ailments on monsters, like burn and ignite.
you want those two for the gem skills:
Immolate
Combustion

as i said in the start of the guide, there are many Molten Strike builds.
most are using the same passive skill tree because its the best way to scale damage and life.
the variation comes in the gearing mostly.
loreweave will give you more damage, but MUCH less life.
same with dual Grelwood instead of a shield.

the reason i went for more defense is that damage is very high even with my setup.
my build is almost unkillable even at high tier bosses.
so if you cant die, killing the boss is just a matter of time ^^
and you can see that it didnt took too long :)

my build also uses ancestral call for mapping, you dont really need the AOE gem.
in the Mino video you can kind of see the mapping speed of the build.
also more AOE=less balls that actually hit.

i trie alot of versions of this build, even with dual Shanks and loreweave, but i didnt like it.
so i fitted this build to my playstyle and i think it turned out better.
the defense is so much higher.

i kept all of them at lvl 20.
it procs frequently enough and you get the high gem lvl benefits such as more attack speed with the golem and longer immortal call duration.

yeap, very similar.
read the first paragraph in the guide, ive talked about it.
but for some reason i have more damage according to POB, even when using only one Grelwood.
(yes, i fixed his skill tree in POB, it got messed up after the update)

you said it was similar, sure, but this seems more copied.
