Can I reduce the currency spaces in my stash without losing on it?
Maybe I can exchange currency or something so that it takes less space? I have 1/16th of the 4 stash tabs left and cannot afford anything else, but with this amount this P2P game is unplayable. I have a lot of Alteration, Transmutation and Chromatic orbs for example, and I'm not interested if I will be losing out on it because it will only free a few slots anyway, I have about one tab of currencies, the rest are potions, cards, essences, jewelry and some good items that I won't part with.

You can vendor up some of your lesser currency, or seek to trade some off to others.
However I would honestly think about a CURRENCY TAB. This game is free to play, and there is no pay to win. Servers and game development staff are not free. Is it too much to ask that we spend a dollar or two to support a game we all love? OCEANIC EXILES https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/581434

" I think about all the tabs all the time, I just can't afford them. Well sure, and by that logic so are all the games that sell in-game items that you can use. You can get them by playing for a month but you can buy them for $10. The developers get plenty of money from all the skins they sell, however not allowing players to be able to play the game freely is not free-to-play, and 4 tabs is nothing in end-game. I only have one tab of good quality items, the rest is just normal things that you collect, and it's filling with every map run. The developers no doubt know this because they created this system. And it's not dollar or two, it's $20 (and the prices are very curiously cost just slightly more than the needed amount of points, just so you would HAVE to buy more points than you need during the sale - I checked). For me - that's a lot, and I would much rather buy a piece of fish for Omega 3s instead, which I don't normally buy because I can't afford that either. And I bet it's a lot for some others. I'm not not buying it out of a principle, I'm not buying it because I can't afford to buy it, even though it is necessary to play this P2P game. In other words, I could say "is it too much to ask to have enough tabs to be able to even play is this is a truly F2P game, especially when they already get tons of money from both supporters and normal people who want a skin, which go on discount all the time in flashy colors motivating players to spend money?" Basically if a player cannot afford it, the game becomes unplayable at around Level 80, and that's when you manage your stash and use up all other characters to store items very efficiently, spending half or even more than half the playtime on doing that. There is no other option if you cannot afford it, which most definitely makes the game P2P. Last edited by FrozenOne#3009 on May 5, 2018, 3:46:43 AM

I can most certainly understand not being able to pay. I have a few young friends who play who genuinely have no funds at all.
All I can say is I believe the current model is more than fair for what is a game well worth playing. I am sure GGG closely monitors they income vs what they charge for MTX and such, who knows if this may change at all over time? I am unemployed btw, not some mega rich person and I am never going to make fun of anyone who is unable to afford something. I am very happy I bought a currency ages ago when I was able, and hope you are a position to do at some stage. Enjoy the game and good luck my friend. " Thanks for good wishes, but with enough space left for two armors, I don't see how I can keep playing it as much as I'd like to. Maybe I'll feel better soon and can manage to spend a few more hours to see if I can manage to free up a few more slots so I could at least work my way up to 12 points. I really wanted the wings though, but of course I would be lucky to get to 12 points at this point because of this P2P thing. Too bad there's nothing that can be done with the currencies in a proper manner. Thanks for good wishes again! |

You can have more than one account you know. Make a few more using different email addresse3s and use them as mule accounts.

" Actually you could buy more valuable currency from other players http://currency.poe.trade Basically exchange cents for dollars if you will, to save some room in your stash. Last edited by Orbaal#0435 on May 5, 2018, 10:18:09 AM

"^Listen to this guy. Instead of complaining about the devs not making stash tabs free, consider they give you as many stash tabs as you want for free. 4 tabs per account plus 24 character inventories per account with no limits on how many accounts you can have. If everybody had your attitude, you wouldn't even have this game to play for free. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>

" " Well everybody doesn't have my opinion based on what I'm seeing (not attitude), so it doesn't matter what would happen if would happen because I can come up with thousands of such random scenarios. And also, they would still make just a tiny bit less because people are addicted to visual fluff for many reasons, and since this game is unplayable without stash tabs (it's P2P after all), people would still buy the tabs no problem. :P And my PC cannot run two clients at the same time, so for me - it doesn't matter that I can have 200 accounts, I cannot use that anyway. Chances are, if you cannot afford tab space, you cannot afford a good PC. WHICH is what makes it worse. :) I actually used to use the trading with many accounts back when I had a better computer, so I have nothing against that (except that it's still plain stupid and that GGG still is trying to squeeze every cent behind a "we just need your support!!" curtain, while still making the game P2P, like many other games who just "need your support", and as I mentioned - even employ shady selling tactics, although to be fair, almost everybody these days does that), but it's workable if you have a good enough PC. Mine isn't. " Thanks for the tip. How do I know and decide if the price is fair on there, so I don't lose out? Last edited by FrozenOne#3009 on May 5, 2018, 9:10:49 PM

Even people who can only run 1 client at a time have 24 character slots. Store some that loot on mule characters.
People have beaten the game with 4 stash tabs. You could too if you weren't so greedy wanting even more free stuff. Asking other people to pay for cosmetics to cover your share of server costs makes you come across as pretty entitled. Guild Leader The Amazon Basin <BASIN>
