Are trade sites getting a cut?

actually xyz is making money off GGGs creative work by running a simple heavy traffic website covered in adverts that pay him money. He chose to create it as a way to make money from offering a search function for the trade forums. The game and trading within it existed without xyz, a small simple website, poe.trade would not exist without the giant arpg game that GGG spent 100,000s of man hours over many years creating after chris and co poured all their life savings and got themselves in massive debt to get it off the ground. What level of creativity and effort did xyz put into his website that he is making bank off? He hasnt even bothered to dress it up and make graphics for it, its as bare bones as it comes, what did it cost him to set up?

GGG are making money off xyzs creative work? Thats such a ridiculously warped and nonsensical view of the situation.



Premium tabs were for sale for the same price before they allowed items placed in them to go straight to the trade stream, its just a function they added to the existing tabs.
