New player here, thinking about playing support.
Which build is better for a new player, yours or this one https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2058058, and is there any large difference between your build and full guardian support? | |
" In a general Discussion can be said that the Guardian 1) has a faster Rise in Power, as your normal Labyrinth Points already provide the most powerfull bonus. 2) due to this, his Defense (ES) is easier and cheaper to get startet, as you are more Item Independend. The Ascendant needs to invest stronger into ES on Gear and joins the Powercurve later, but will eventually overtake the Guardian, especially in offensive Capabilities. When comparing these two builds, I would say that his will be sturdier against elemental Damage (my Purities dont affect me), but will be more vulnerable to Physical Damage (I have Iron Reflexes + Determination). Hi, first of all, sorry about my english because is not my main language. I'm happy to share that i have a lot of fun playing with this build. But i have some ussues, first and most relevant ussue chaos dmg, i cant keep alive without permanent Coruscating Flask, thats is a fact (the Phanteon's you advice are selected). The another change i made, is use on weapon Clarity (low lvl) + Purity of Elements + Blood Magic because since i still dont have presence of chayula (20% reserve life), there is a lot of life for this aura's reservation with blood magic.

" I dont know if I should give you an advice here. Will you have friends with which to play this build together? Because this is not a solo build and while it is enjoyable to level as a group with it, its probably boring/expensive to level alone. If you are very new to PoE I would probably advice you to pick a Support heavy Summoner Build. Other then that, I'd say play my Guardian or the other dude's. Guardians are easier for you to gear and a little bit safer. Just avoid any Build that tells you to just reserve all your life and run with 1x Corruscating Elixier against Chaos damage. You will die. And constantly beeing dead will greatly reduce your enjoyment of any build =). | |
