What exactly is challenging about it? All it does is stress out your CPU unless you're doing HC or some maps.

Opinions are something hard to argue because they dont need facts and rarely even bother with them. But I agree they arent legitimate players in the same way a normal player is.

But using any kind of defense isnt egotystical....some of us, like me, are defending them because GGG allows them to play, so they are as much a player of this game as you or I. Less legitimate in terms of opinion, but still a gamer nonetheless.

No. I say they are not legitimate players.

The entire motivation behind it is greed.

Some say challenge. If you want challenge, play hardcore, or soon, cut-throat.
Some say a skill check. If you want a skill check, make a melee char with no life nodes.
Some say they want to level and gear 6 characters at once. If you want to gear six chars at once, then you can do it like everyone else. If you want to level 6 chars at once, then you might need a brain check-up.

Bottom line, is that both multiboxing and multilogging is about greed. It's about player X getting absolutely as much of Y for themselves as they possibly can, to the exclusion of anyone else.

And if you actually fool yourself into thinking this is good for the game, then you might want to remember this discussion 6 months from now when you are paying 100 Exalted for something that at the moment only costs 5.

Short of something that will hamper legitimate players, there is no way. So multiboxing and multilogging get clumped into the same group.
