Arc should kill all before magma orb arrives, magma orb is just there to delay bodyswap and kill rares :)
This is a really fun build! Leveling is really fast and safe (I was underleveled around 7-9 levels all the time) and getting into maps is easy if you have a little currency. Thanks for writing it up!!

I suggest going for Deadly Infusion first instead of Ambush. This helped my DPS a lot in early maps up to tier 5.

I Added in a Carnage Heart for even more safety. Can face tank Gorge boss now as long as Cremation is up. :)

However, I still feel single target is weird af. I use Cremation/GMP/Immolate/Conc Effect. Can place it a lot faster this way, but maybe this is just me being uncomfortable with placing traps.
Maybe a weapon swap for bosses could help?

Was thinking about a 6 link staff for weapon switch, any suggestions are welcome :)
Maybe flameblast cast while channeling magma orb?
Am I missing something or how is this cast on crit? Also why not use EK instead of Arc?

This would probably work well with a Pledge of Hands I guess. Magma Orb is supposed to keep you alive by leeching while you channel? Unfortunately I'm not wealthy enough to just test it out (~7ex for a PoH as of now).

I could get a cheap 6L staff and tested around for a while. BV might actually work, but sustaining life is hard af.
Ball Lightning does a lot of damage (high crit, multiple hits), but cast speed is too low.

When you get Flameblast CwC Magma Orb running, please keep us up to date :)
+2/+3 Lightning - Storm Surge, Cast While Channeling, Ball Lightning, Slower Projectiles, Damage, Damage
+2/+3 Fire - Flameblast, Cast While Channeling, Magma Orb, Concentrated Effect, Damage, Damage
+2/+3 Fire - Cremation, Greater Multiple Projectiles, Damage, Damage, Damage, Damage
Pledge of Hands - Storm Call, Concentrated Effect, Damage, Damage, Damage, Damage
Pledge of Hands - Blade Vortex, Concentrated Effect, Damage, Damage, Damage, Damage

Can't really tell which one will be best, gonna have to try them :D
I guess i'm still new to the game so I don't really understand this build. What ability does he use to attack with? When I throw these in my gear like he does, my character just stands there.

Kinetic Blast should be your Right Click, with Desecrate in your movement skill spot, as it can be used to prepare a boss area or to body swap (teleport) to.

Side note: If you don't care about bosses at all (I don't), you can change out the entire Cremation gem link and just use Enlighten - Herald of Thunder - Onslaught - Vaal Haste. Remove the dual curse points and put them into Charisma and another jewel slot. Change Determination to Grace. Get flat damage to spells on Abyss Jewels instead of focusing on Onslaught.

Note that the build is built around the unique wands (The Poet's Pen) that cast socketed spells when you attack. This is what chains your skills.
Don't get me wrong, but I guess you missed that being a new-ish player (these wands are fairly expensive for beginners).
