Over 600 thrown into this. Keeping it a 5L. 1500 fusings using Vorici's help. My man. The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

got it in 980 fusings today had 2200 that I saved up myself over oh, a year or so. I did not trade for any fusings, these are ones I found myself or used vendor recipe to get. Used about 1200 scraps as well. Did a few of the first ones with like 5% quality. got a 5L on the second attempt. then I used 20% qual thereafter until I ran out. Then I watched the links for the next 100-200. Counted 1 other 5L. Then I just spammed them as fast as I could (it stops you when you get the 6L, at least it did for me since this was my first time and I got the achievement) I didn't count any other 5ls, not saying I didn't see any, I just did not bother to try to count them. So glad I did NOT use vorici, and I just got him to level 7 today, too. I debated just using him but I really wanted that achievement. Plus I figured I had like a 85-88 chance of getting a 6L with my 2200. | |
