[3.1] TRICKSTER Scorching Ray + Righteous Fire MoM Boss farmer 1.8mil trash DPS

Trying out this build in the new league but am somewhat of a noob. Feel like I'm a bit too squishy, any tips to help me improve and move past tier 8ish maps safely?

My Current Gear:



Killed All Guardians, Shaper and Elder.
Shaper without Golem, Elder for saftey with Golem

I have about 850 LifeReg/Second (while Standing)

No Problems

Wouldn't it be better if I go for lvl 8 Arcane Surge? It only needs 41 mana to proc so every Orb of Storms cast will give me buff. I mean it would be 5% less inc. crit and 0.3% less mana reg but damn it's EVERY TIME

Sure. I just wanted to try to improve your build or give you an idea.
I assume that using lvl 8 gem would be more efficient.
Your thoughts?

What jewel should i cut from scorching ray if i only got a 5linked armor so far

Very new to POE and I just started with this build and am currently level 75 - I am almost always out of mana - so I cant even cast scorching ray while RF is on.

I can occasionaly pop a ruby flask and a mana and get some back but almost completely drained once I am hit - so I basically just have to spam flasks and run around.

Am I missing anything in my build?

Definitely better for map clearing. Getting a bigger buff for boss fights with a higher level arcane surge though.

Yes. Your purity of fire is only level 11. You don't have all the regen nodes in the tree. Your gear in general is very bad.

I'm aware that all of the gem links aren't perfect yet (body/helm). I keep getting rekt in normal maps. Mana just shoots to zero. What do I need to upgrade?
