So i havent played srs til the skill came out. I play hardcore only. Is this thing still viable as a league starter? Just trying to get low tier map run as fast as i can to build my currency up while it matter the most. Looks pretty solid but with mom /lyco nerf i am thinking,is it still worth it? Im not looking for high end bosskill but just fast enough low tier safe farming.

Considering the reduced drop rate, and wanders, melee and other builds wanting a Lycosidae as well, yes prices will jump up big time, and will be very rare

Hey guys! I'm still recovering from the flu so sorry I haven't been able to respond as much as I'd usually like T__T. I'm still working on the leveling section as well as organizing >< (pls check out the collab link), but wanted keep people updated the 3.1 stuffs. I edited/updated this at the beginning of the guide
There's even more potential in 3.1, which I'm excited about! Unfortunately, I'm going to be playing a new build (and will probably write another guide for it if it's legit), but I'll still be updating this build as new information and discoveries are made. Keep the discussion flowing in the comments! I know many people are looking forward to playing it for Abyss as their starter or even go all the way with it. Good Luck + Have Fun!* I'm currently trying to improve/polish the guide via collaboration at https://docs.google.com/document/d/17wORcckrOhxg7mxrL7iSZe071jdbIaufcMAMHRJUN8c/edit?usp=sharing Please Help Make Any Suggestions! Don’t worry about messing it up since I have to approve each one for it to be officially integrated. If possible, please use the forum lingo~ 3.1 Update!

" iHuy's build is a SRS build, not a Specter build. That said, for leveling purposes and easier maps, you can run Zombies or Specters (or whatever) by sacrificing some other gems (as I did). It is a fairly flexible build. "Budget" for this one is also a bit of a misnomer (especially as $$$ is relative). As a new player to POE, and building this character as my 4th one in Harbinger, I had *some* resources, but I found parts of this end-game build to be expensive. At the end of the season, the unique potions were ~1 exalt each, and the 7% life + 15% minion damage jewels were ~2 exalt each. With Summoner builds being "in" now, I can only assume that good jewels will be even more expensive. I took this build to the endgame missing some key pieces, and it performed well. It was certainly able to jump into red-tier maps fairly easily, which was something I struggled with on my other characters. I also loved this build because stat-wise it was very flexible, and I was never under any pressure to lock myself into any specific gear piece (for str, dex, or resists, etc). Regardless, the build you linked will be absolutely fine. Alternatively, you might want to check out RaizQT's Specter + SRS Build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrvriyTTW2A That one has caught my eye, and if I decide to make a more dedicated Specter build later, I'll probably build like that. It's very life heavy (+265% from the tree), but if you're planning on playing SF, you could always drop a few life nodes for something like Exceptional Performance or Arcane Chemistry (which is an important passive in this build). " Thank you very much for the detailed answer! Really appreciate it. I am returning player, skipped Harbringer league and decided to try something new this time. Will think some more tho, have 1,5 hours for it) |
