We'd have to be a bit more flexible when playing in shorter events or even solo self found, replacing a lot of pieces until the "best in slot" uniques can be obtained. ssf would be rush staff with divination card and alt +2 fire lvl until you chance / loot lycosidae.
An other srs player achieved:
#1 Necromancer in SSF HC Mayhem, #2 overall (level 100)
#1 Necromancer in SSF HC Turmoil, #2 overall (level 100)
but it was with classic staff, slightly less clearspeed than lycosidae.
I believe if you manage to get lycosidae and use the belt trick for rampage each map, you can get rank 1 in hc ssf with this build

Which chest do you think would be better a 6l Dialla's Malefaction with the same colours as yours or a 6l Skin of the Loyal? Both without +1 gems corruption.

Will you use hungry loop ? 5l ring

Dialla's Malefaction offers a bit more flexibility with gems and a bit of min maxing (in terms of raw damage, about 2% more with the optimal setup, 2R4G). Skin of the loyal offers more defenses, and is definitely best in slot with any defensive support! Both are great options if you are looking for damage. In terms of defenses/life, Belly of the Beast is still bae. <3

I'm super excited about hungry loop! Sacrificing some life/resist/stats/minion movespeed/quant we can try out some interesting shenanigans with Animate Guardian, Spectres, Zombies, etc! Will definitely be on the look out~

first of all i want to say good job and keep up the good work,...i was looking for a new build to start the new league in december..and was looking for something that could scale well in end game ..and a little bit more tanky..tired of getting one shotted,..figured if i dont tank much i will die less..srs seems the way to go.. so i gathered some intel and wanted the opinion of a srs expert....maybe you can have a look in your spare time...please ignore the rigs and shield ,flasks they are there from another build(still have to work on them to cap my resists).

Hi, thanks for checking out the guide. Things may change in December when the patchnotes roll around. I'll update accordingly as long as the build remains relevant :) (I'll make new build/guide for the new league though :D). As for your character, it'll probably be easier to do it on stream for me. Just let me know~

Ah this is answered in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section:

"4. Why not United in Dream/Severed in Sleep?
They're fine as weapons but the Scourge adds more damage in the end (as long as you proc it). In my Path of Building, I lose about 11.8% damage if I switch to United in Dream (esp after poison/double dip nerf)."
