Bosses should give way more XP.
Now that every boss in the game is as deadly as ever and can take much much more punishment they should reward tons of extra XP, something like 500% of what they give maybe more; just watch your XP/hour dwindle drastically every time you stop from scouring a map to kill a boss... lame, also at higher tiers ppl may die so RIP xp, i guess HC players are simply NOT doing most map bosses.

True, something has to be done about the bosses. I oneshot rares and entire screens, but it takes quite a while to kill the bosses, besides the fact that some of them (Magaera for example) can be pretty deadly...

And some bosses are just pure BS, like Port map. If you play on HC or your character is glass cannon then it's not even worth your risk and time.

Well, the problem is that with a lot of bosses, not getting hit is really hard or impossible. For me, the fights where you have to (and can) avoid the boss attacks and spells are the best - the Atziri fight is a good example, also the room is not ridiculously tiny for that one. Shaper seems rather well-designed as well, besides the obvious shitty part of being a DPS check.

" hahaha exactly so, i guess GGG is worried about ppl getting to level 100 to easily, but spamming BOSSES (if they gave decent XP) won't change that at all. Because atm ppl who want to lvl 100 probably arent killing any bosses. And there is plenty of other reasons not to, THEREFORE, >> WASTE. OF. CONTENT<<. I think ggg knows this is bad for business and it's like throwing developers time/money into the sink for naught, so it will be fixed... ((they haven't disappointed me most of the time when i see something is really out of order, it's sooner or later fixed). edit: i'm not even a tryhard or powerleveling fanatic who spams Pj's rota or if you are really "pro"

Honestly your thread should be called "Bosses should give way more". Period. Exp, loot, maps, everything is underwhelming with current map bosses (other than the few bosses with specific loot tables). If I was a speed clear kind of guy, I would not kill a single boss once you have the atlas bonus unlocked.

Right now if the boss kills you, you lose 10% exp. If you kill the boss, you gain 0.05% or something exp.
Yet dying to bosses is pretty much the norm and most of players will die a few times to certain overtuned bosses. So yeah, why even bother, bosses as they are right now are just wasted content, GGG loves adding that. |

" Highly doubt that. Maps might be debatable since bosses do drop several high tier maps once in a while. But in terms of xp/h and loot you are far better of skipping the boss and thats sad. |
