You can say that because you're likely a white heterosexual male. There is an actual problem with games privileging avatars that appeal to your demographic. Does that make GGG overtly racist? No. Does that make GGG complicit in perpetuating the legacy of white supremacy, sure. As a white male, I'm not adveresly affected either, but I can imagine (this is where being mindful and empathetic comes in, a trait lost on most of the western world) that if I were not white and or not male, I might ask "why are the options so limited?" This is compounded by the fact that the marauder (an already historically loaded label, see 'barbarians' and 'savages' -- used to describe 'uncivilized' usually non-white people) is a hulking male character, as if the Maori / Karui don't have females (statistically, 50% of the population).

semi-TLDR; not everything is about you, or what you think is right. There are like billions of non-white people in the world who want to see some semblance, or at least an option for, their own identities to be considered in the games they enjoy. This has real economical impacts on the future of POE. It is quite likely that they foreclose expanding player base opportunities by not having a simple character customization feature, something that is standard practice in most games (to the point of absurdity in some cases).

Because all the characters come from a society heavily influenced by Nazis. Also above all else it's a statistically driven game balanced around having 7 class options where introducing anymore would take insane amounts of work balancing wise.

P.S. if i made a topic ''can we have a skin for white marauder because i hate playing characters that are black'' i'd be banned so quick, the topic wouldn't even manage to register at the bottom of google indexes, which is basically what this whole topic is, only in reverse.

Remember that random black dude in that tv series screen advert getting stuck between suburban white families? Or the rogue trooper in one of the latest star wars movies? I nearly chocked laughing when i first saw the trailer, because it is more than obvious in which case the colour is being either forced to resemble some ''balance'' or just to boost sales, or in rare cases simply because there must be at least one.

Racism is still a thing, only now it's going strong from both front, and back.
People see racism if they want to see it, so clearly everyone who shouts that racism is bad, are actually racist them selves. tl;dr don't feed the trolls,and eventually they will cease to exist.
