"AFK" sellers

Thanks to all those people whom have cheap items for sale, but do not even bother to reply. I know you get our messages as no AFK reply even comes. You are true exiles. You realize you can disable your sales tabs that you just do not bother with anymore, or enable them when you feel like selling. It remembers the prices you have set, amazing!

I try to take high road and be an example. Someone wants to buy an item for 1c in another league than I'm currently logged into. I whisper saying that I'll be switching over and to hang on 10 seconds, and I'll make the trade. Sometimes, I have to say that they need to wait until I finish the map since I need to open it for Atlas. Surprisingly everyone so far has waited even for 1-2c trades. Maybe no one else is really bothering. So, win for me I guess. It's a pain admittedly, but since I have listed items for sale, I feel obligated to make the sale. You know, treat others as yourself would like to be treated.

I just had a thought, maybe botting is just really rampant, and reason why people don't reply to whispers.

P.S. I'm sure there are cases where someone has just gone AFK, or just fails to see the whisper etc. but the amount of cold shoulder I get and talking with friends, some of these "sellers" are real pieces of work.

If GGG doesn't care about this, why should players?

Maybe you should start blaming the only one that is to blame here?
I'm pretty new to the game and after i learned about trading it felt really convenient. First time i whispered someone i got an invite almost instantly, thought it was automated or something. Fast and clean trade and it went like that most of the time, occasionally getting an afk message.

Since yesterday i noticed nobody is replying to my requests, messaged 8 people about a sword and not a single reply, not even a DND or AFK. Today again i tried to buy a vaal gem and started to think it was something wrong with my chat, took 6 tried for someone to answer.

It totally killed the excitement i had for trading, now i'm starting to wish for an AH.
Imho as soon as somebody is AFK, his tabs should turn private for the indexer
ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it
I dont mean to go afk but I am human and I work many hours and DO fall asleep. Or I can be busy when the person PMs when I am doing runs with people. I am not gonna stop for just 1 alch or 5 chaos item to be sold, in most cases that is the case, as most items suck.

unless you get ticket items like shavs, kaoms and so forth.

Then you just have the trade board open so it prevents you from ever going afk.

The afk sellers are bane of my existance. As a f2p player, I have to constantly sell my stuff for chaos->exalts to save space. And I have to waste soooo much time on afk sellers.
I would be fine with current trading system, if the AFKs. But when I go through sending the same message to 10 people before someone finally responds, whenever I want to trade something... It really makes me want to quit this game until GGG fixes the trading.
